This letter has been circulated this afternoon by a member club.
The content is alarming.
Basically it says the FAW assumed that the 9 clubs are appealing against a FAW decision to refuse the decision of clubs made at a SGM. 54 clubs.
They have refused the appeal on the grounds that the FAW has to date not refused to accept any decision made by the clubs at any General Meeting of the WFL. In particular, the FAW has not to date refused to accept 54 clubs in a 3 division WFL for the season 2010/2011.
Perhaps all clubs should have been forwarded a copy of the FAW's response to the recommendation from member clubs by the Welsh League secretary before the meeting at the Aberavon Beach Hotel to be discussed by club commitees..
Was the correct response read out at the meetng in Aberavon?
If they had received a copy a true meaningful vote could have taken place.
I am totally confused now.
Who do we believe?
If we are to believe the governing body (FAW) we could have started our season a while ago with 54 clubs.
What now concerns me is, there is no mechanism within the FAW rules for the 9 clubs to challenge this decision of the FAW to reject their appeal.
What action will these clubs now take?
Will they seek an injunction?
I hope not for all our sake.

Hmmm...something doesn't add up does it? Have genuine mistakes been made? Or has there been a cover-up? Time to keep an eye on the written press i would think... Why can't Mr Ford just forget writting letters and get the clubs together and thrash this out. The meeting doesn't end until a decision has been made

This is beyond belief. I haven't seen the letter not being involved with a club.
If Lynda La Plante wrote this you would say it is too far fetched. Obviously from what has been posted clubs could have been playing in 18 team leagues .Alun Evans idea of a four division league with 16 teams in each looks a way forward after this season . Welsh League Management Committee hang your heads in shame. You have done the clubs who put you there a great injustice.
