I dont think clubs can appeal now, as the window to appeal is only open for 10 days after the relegation etc is announced i.e. 5th June. Huw, where do you look to see which clubs have signed players etc?

Surely its got to be 10 days after the FAW have given their decision to the clubs.
You cant appeal against something that hasn't happened of if you cant afford to.

Dean, if the rule book is applied, then the 10 day rule stands, as that is why Troedyrhiw's appeal wasnt allowed, as they appealed outside of the 10 days. The decision (for all clubs) went out on June 4th/5th, so I cant see them allowing appeals now 2 months later

Dont actually know just that the decision from FAW has been made and will be told tonite.
As Secretary we have access to FAW database of registered players otherwise might get done for an illegal approach. ;D wouldnt want a £500 fine would we

I am not sure whether this constitutes a new decision or not. If the league are now seeking a "confirmation" of promotion and relegation I would have thought it could be construed as a new proposal/decision.
Those issues aside I still think it would be logical to have the highest division with 18 clubs as at least in theory they should be more likely to have the best chance of getting through the fixtures.
Whatever we are certainly between a rock and a hard place . If only Solomon was still alive.

Well 16-16-18 it is and back to off field activities no doubt.I am not sure whether we are at the rock or the hard place.
Two things come out of this. Firstly we have had more coverage of the Welsh League than ever. Lets hope the adage there's no such thing as bad publicity is true.
Secondly there is now a lot of animosity between clubs-comiittee and clubs-FAW and Welsh League which doesn't augur well for Welsh Football.Lets have a root and branch re-organisation of South Wales Football.
Involve the clubs at each feeder League to the Welsh League in a consultation on realistic ground criteria . Once you have an agreement at feeder league level(common criteria) the Welsh League could agree a realistic criteria for entry to the League, promotion to the second division and lastly the first Division.
Why have we two South Wales Leagues covering same geographical area(Senior and Amateur) . Surely these should be combined. If the other feeder Leagues were to combine at the level below Welsh league only -say Neath and Swansea, and Carmarthenshire -Pembrokeshire the jump from local travel to Welsh League travel would not deter players playing at a higher level. Eventually Gwent might merge with South Wales Leagues so that there would be three geographical Leagues each providing team for promotion to Welsh League Football.
This would take time but usually things that are done thoughtfully have more chance of standing the test of time.
Ok I will be coming off the tablets soon and returning to reality.

It's 16-16-18 and yes, you've guessed it, Seven Sisters, Troedyrhiw and Llantwit Fardre will be appealing...
All the other options make more sense, but you can't expect the FAW to go for one of those.

The people appealing now make me sick! September is already way too late to start such a long season!
Absolutely shocking! There will be no season if these idiots persist!
