I had a spare 5 minutes in between trying to guess whether Kate Middleton was having a boy or a girl.
Listen pal, I am not going to lose any sleep over it and why would I put names on here just for them to be vilified by you or anyone else associated with BT, that's just not cricket. I have no issue with people being paid I welcome it. Just think some people get deluded (not just Barry) when it comes to whether players are being paid or not. I don't see what the problem is with people knowing.
Anyway, I am off to watch some paint dry. Toodle pip.

If the Barry committee could have paid players a wage this last two seasons, I'm sure they would have. The players certainly would have deserved it. As it is, there've been none paid in this time, only the Man of the Match thing highlighted earlier.
Enjoy the paint.

How clever of bullshitbuster to come up with the last heading of START OF SEASON DELAYED by bullshitbuster. How apt and probably true.

As someone fortunate enough to know a very big chunk of the facts regarding the Barry case I have to say that above all else, this whole thing for me has just, more than anything made me really disappointed with the conduct & comments of a number of football people that I respected massively before this started.
I have seen Managers of other Clubs stirring it up trying to stop Barry & Llanelli getting into the league because they don't want the competition. I've seen Club Secs spreading false stories & inaccurate information for reasons I cannot fathom. I've seen people jumping on "the rules the rules" soap box that had they looked at their own Footballing pasts have no right to quote the word rules let alone lecture us on them. I've seen Managers shouting the cause on Facebook & Twitter whilst behind the scenes, trying to poach multiple players from the Club they are supposedly "right behind".
However, the thing these people are missing in this is, and those of you who know me know I have no affiliation to Barry at all, is this is a proper football club. There are people who support Barry Town who literally when asked in a pub who they support they say Barry Town. Not Cardiff City, Liverpool, Arsenal - Barry Town. These are people. Human beings who if Barry go out of existence it will affect massively not only on a Saturday afternoon, but in their everyday lives.
Whether you agree or not with what I say, that's fine. I don't judge anyone for having a view or expressing it. That's what I'm doing here, but to stir & spread lies behind the scenes to try & influence things in your favour when as I say people's everyday life will be adversely affected is the absolute pits!
I hope Barry are in Div 3 next season. That will affect my own Team & our chances, but this goes above that. This whole thing stinks from the high heavens. But they may not get in & I can see that, but I would never stoop so low as some people have throughout this whole thing. So please, if you don't know the facts, stay Schtum. One thing is for sure - the high court is not going to Bodge the decision & the process in getting there, so lets leave them to do it - please - for the sake of those supporters I have mentioned!
I await the torrent if abuse from those I have referred to earlier in this post. But that will say more about you than me!
Good Luck Barry Town!

Gareth, agree with views on Barry and have continually expressed my support for them and especially the people who have been running the club for the past 2 seasons. The Welsh League and the FAW have known of their situation during this period and have gladly taken their affiliation fees, fine money etc, etc. There is no doubt there are a few people who continually try to bring the club down and it is a great pity that some clubs dont give a dam about the fight for survival that everybody can see. I just hope that Barry win their case and that Llanelli can get back into this League.

Well said Gareth, lots of "own agenda's" behind many messages but you'd be hard pushed to find one club that doesnt see the need for an overhaul of the current old boys network - sorry FAW committee. Being someone involved in the management of a grassroots club, this shambles of managing national football impacts on leagues even at our level. This isnt just about Barry or Llanelli - its about development of Welsh football from the bottom right to the top. It took massive changes to unroll the old boys network at Welsh rugby and look at the benefits that had so now its time for Welsh football

So what is the latest on the season starting? Are we waiting on another appeal and when is this due to be heard/resolved? I notice the SW senior league have their divisions set up on their website so are good to go but seems that the SW amateur league are still waiting. Do the bottom teams from WL Div 3 know their fate? Have Bettws been relegated or are we waiting on the BTU appeal? WHAT IS GOING ON?
