If you're referring to Barry, none are paid. They do a Man of the Match award where a sponsor chucks in £100 and that's it. Untrue. They might not be paid per game but certain individuals received something for signing on. |

As a committee we didn't sell to Lovering. He bought the business 'Barry Town AFC Ltd' from the Administrators. The supporters had no say in the matter. So what would have happened to Barry Town AFC Ltd if Lovering didn't buy it from the administrators and there was no other buyer? |

Then they would have folded, the same way Llanelli and Neath have done, and the same way Rangers did in Scotland. Yes, Lovering bought the business from Administrators to supposedly prevent it from closing - but then tried to close it himself, scarpering abroad owing certain people a lot of money. His mum must be so proud... C**t.

I think he's missed the boat on that one, according to current FAW rules, he too would have to start at the bottom. That's if he was successful in applying to a league. But lets be honest here, which league would take any team of his?! More to the point, who on earth would want to play for him?!
That's one of the most laughable things about the situation, he now owns a football club name with no playing squads and no ground to play at. Having spent years trying to sell Barry Town AFC ltd for a profit, he's destroyed his stock - he now has nothing to sell. Worst businessman ever. Lord Sugar's Apprentice, he aint.

In all seriousness, I don't actually care two hoots what happens to the club, any of my recent posts prove this. I have not once given an opinion on their survival just that players are saying they are being paid and posters on here saying they are not. I believe the players, you can say I am full of shit all you like but those loyal players of yours are making you out to be a plum if they are happy to make out they are getting paid. If I am full of shit, then your beloved players are full of shit (wouldn't be the first time a player is full of shit). That is not me shit stirring because I have been told it directly by Barry players. That is me passing on something I believe true because I trust the integrity of the people who have said it.

Just spoke to someone who knows and they said no players have been paid any wage or signing on fee since at least May 2011.
