Voggie you're right, Griffiths allowed an assistant, who allegedly is serving a 3-match FAW touchline ban, to stand in the dugout area. Instead of keeping his nose clean, the guy uses "commonsense" in getting dragged into an argument with a L Major "fan" + ends him tossing him towards a fence. Both Griffiths + his assistant should do the right thing + tender their resignations, as I doubt whether Penybont will have the backbone to show them the door. The Bont sub who triggered the handbags should also be shown the exit door. Only this will justify that Penybont stand for values.

Think the Penybont statement is poor.
Totally looking to deflect blame

Sure that’s the same Penybont sub who has returned from a long ban after an altercation in ton pentre. I believe he was also on social media fighting at PT ! Shame this has happened to major as they haven’t had any problems over the last few years. Trouble seems to follow the super club atm

major123...........spot on that's the man alright that triggered trouble last Sat. High expectations at Penybont going for Welsh Prem next season + they can't get the basics right regarding discipline at the top of their tree.

Hope this doesn’t affect our season and it’s really taken away from the fact we earned a draw (should have won) against the title faves and money men of Welsh league

Statements a bit disappointing from both clubs, Penybont trying to blame provocation from a fan. Neil Warnock prob as same every week, multiplied by 10,000 fans , yet not seen him or his assistants jump into crowd to attack them. LM only looking at fans behaviour, they had 3 sent off including 1 after match, most/all players both sides involved in incident at end, yet no investigation into players / officials actions from LM ?

No my comments initiated from video and fact of 5 sent off. I just believe it would be beneficial for both clubs to carry out a full investigation, covering all matters. In my view it would then have them fully prepared for likely FAW investigation and possibly a full internal investigation would show clubs in better light with FAW. Doubt if any FAW panel would have been at game either.
Good luck to both clubs in achieving a fair and just outcome.

Believe the faw will have paperwork from 3 officials and the refs asser who were at the game. Believe Bala had 3 reds yesterday will you conduct your own investigation into that aswel ? As assume you didn’t watch that game either.

I have conducted no investigation nor reached a conclusion, nor do I believe judged either side (if I have please indicate where) in my opinions expressed on this site. I have never claimed to base my opinions on anything other than the information made public, i.e. groundhopper video, press reports and social media comments.
You are right in terms of 3 reports FAW will have available, I also believe they will use the Groundhopper video, press reports and possibly social media comments along with requesting both clubs report on matters.
In my "opinion" it would be better for both clubs when answering charges (if any made), if their internal investigation addressed all matters, rather than the narrow field of investigation both clubs indicate in their club statements. Again in my "opinion" an investigation into all matters would prepare clubs better, when club officials sit in front of FAW panel as they would be better prepared for questions raised, by FAW panel.
I do not see much reporting of FAW investigations, charges or conclusions in case of disciplinary matters. However if these incidents (as shown on video) occured in Championship (TIER2) English pyramid, past evidence suggests the FA would charge both clubs with the 'catch all' charge of "failing to control players / officials" along with probably further individual charges against some players/officials and possibly individual clubs.
I am on this site as a follower of WL (mainly div 1) football, so I have made no comment on Bala as my interest in WPL is mainly limited to scores and league tables and I have seen no video, social media or press comments on matter.
Both clubs were perhaps unfortunate that a groundhopper videoed events, however it may also serve as a warning to other clubs, how easy it is these days for events to be recorded and the publicity that can be generated. Unfortunately press are more interested in "sensatiolising" matter, rather than focus on the good work done by clubs as indicated in an earlier post from "majormoments" on all the great things LM have done as a club in recent years.
Finally I have "opinions" on many, many events I have not been present at (sure you do to), these "opinions" are based on information available to me, books, TV/video coverage, press reports, social media (these days), official statements, debate with others etc etc. In my "opinion", it would be a sad world, if for our "opinion" to be considered we needed to be present at the event !
Good luck to LM and PyB, in defending these matters and future progress on and off pitch.

I’m half expecting Donald Trump to make a statement about Saturday’s events at Landfill Lane. Has Griff done the honourable thing yet ? Or have the club done the honourable thing ?

Silence is deafening coming out of King Cole Stadium............come on Voggie, you don't expect Rhys Griffiths to do the honourable thing + resign as there would be a run on the pound if he did. And as you suggested earlier, Penybont haven't got the bottle to sack him + his assistant. No, Penybont looking to ride the storm + wait for the FAW steward's enquiry which is unlikely to be heard until the middle of next month. FAW gravy train stationed in exotic parts of the compass for the summer hols and "do not disturb" sign has gone up.

Not sure they would have a lot of applicants for the job ? Not a brilliant club atm

They can get rid of him by asking him to resign or if he refused they could dismiss him summarily: Summary dismissal is dismissal without notice. It does not require advance notice to the employee and wages are only paid to the time of dismissal. An employer has a legal right to summarily dismiss an employee without notice for serious misconduct or other conduct which justifies such dismissal.
