What I witnessed today between these 2 clubs was a disgrace. The FAW need to clamp down on this sort of stuff at this level. The footage is there for all to see on twitter and is embarrassing for clubs at this level. 5 red cards, assaulting spectators. Book should get thrown at em!! Embarasin!

The L Major fan might have made a nuisance of himself, but the Penybont sub who abused him and the Bont guy in the tracksuit (think it was their asst manager) should both be shown the door out of the Kymco Stadium. At the end of the day, club players + management team should display far better discipline. I know the game was always a powder keg as around 90 per cent of L Major team had previously pulled on either a Peybont or Bryntirion shirt, but the game was a massive loser today owing to those scenes on the Ground Hopper film that received around 9,000 hits by 11pm. Hopefully, both clubs will be hit hard in the chq book by the FAW. Once more Penybont manager Griffiths was sent off - the 3rd time he's seen red since taking over at the Kymco. How can players learn discipline when it doesn't come from above? If Penybont want to save face then Griffiths's assistant + the sub should be thrown out of the club. But I very much doubt if their will more a case of "let's just brush it under the carpet" + allow the issue to die a death. Now is the time to be strong Penybont - even if it does impact on their quest to get in the Welsh Prem next season.

Did you not enjoy the game?
Poor discipline from both teams but ref let Penybont get away with too much in the first half.
Having played the two favourites and held are own I am a little more hopeful of our survival hopes
As for the twitter footage clearly shows someone from the Bridgend bench assaulting someone in the crowd, yet it was a Llantwit player that got sent off at the end of the game.
All in all a fair result and value for money for the crowd which was over 100.

I think you'll find the L Major sub that was sent off post-match had nothing to do DIRECTLY with the Penybont sub or member of the their management team that abused the L Major fan. After Barry ref Dan Richardson blew the final whistle another incident broke out among the players, that's why the L Major sub saw red. And don't forget too that Penybont man Marcus Griffiths missed a late penalty, blazing it wide of goal. But given the 2-0 loss at Haverfordwest on day one and now the 0-0 draw with Penybont, I stick to my pre-season prediction that L Major will finish in a comfortable mid-table position.

Players / managers assaulting spectators, 5 red cards. May be entertainment to some, suggest they watch MMA or WWE. Me I want to watch football with both sides and spectators respecting each other and the match officials.

As I said the actions of the pen y bont bench crossed way over the line.
As for the game it was a local derby with 2 committed teams. The ref let too much go and the game paid the price.
It was a close game and Could of gone either way. I would rather watch that than a 10-1or a 13-0 which are frankly more embarrassing for the league.
Both sides will now lose players for 1 and 3 games and hi imagine those involved on the pen y bont bench will get long bans.
Another tough game Saturday when Cambrian visit

Sad day for Welsh football. 5 sent off, attacks on fans, players behaviours both sides just unacceptable. Worst still so called "football fans" (or possible worse officials/players) associated with either club, tried to defend it as a "local derby" or "fan got what he deserved". There should be a letter in post today to FAW from both club secretaries, apologising for the disgrace brought on Welsh Football and agreeing to accept the punishment issued against their clubs with good grace and further apologies.

I for one am a paying supporter and do not condone players attacking spectators no matter What the provocation.
As for the game I have seen plenty of worse games for discipline.
There was one flashpoint on the other side of the pitch which saw 2 players sent off. The other 2 reds were for 2 bookings.
Events just before and after the final whistle is where things crossed the line of what's acceptable.
It was always going to be a flashpoint game and that's what attracted a decent crowd. The ref was too weak early on and his assistants didn't want to give anything accept offside.

Why, refs and assistants blamed, yet to see a ref or assistant deliberately commit a foul or get involved in touchline "brawls" (other than trying to stop them) , or use foul and abusive language. Clubs need to take responsibility for the actions of their players, officials and spectators. Perhaps then enough ref and assistants for all WL games and even retired players getting involved as refs/assistants.

........+ just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for Penybont, the "gentleman" in the tracksuit who throws the L Major "fan" towards the fence appeared on the FAW Outstanding Suspension List of 8/8/2018 having a 3-match touchline ban carried over from last season. Oops. Talk about being in hot water, from where I'm sitting its likely to scald him.
