If any of you want to kick a football this year i urge you all to get together now and throw out the clubs that are making this season a total waste of time. The likes of llanwern, uwic, pentwyn, joke, cwmbran and the rest of the cronies who are making it impossible to play/ Lets invoke rule 15 and get rid now, we are stronger than them and we must act now to save our season. All club secs we plan a meeting this week please add your post to arrange and sort out this mess. Take note rebel clubs we are planning action against you and we have the support of the majority of welsh league clubs

Is this Matt who had resigned.
Shock horror clubs to be voted out for doing things by the rules. That is an interesting angle.
What next -man to be charged for parking legally.
Motorist fined for not speeding.
What other crimes can we charge people with for being law abiding

You continually miss the point.
We want to play football.
These 9 clubs are potentially threatening that, so why should the other clubs (the majority) sit back and let it all happen and make their own seasons impossible to complete?
Hopefully now you are realising the weight of ill feeling towards the 9 concerned - especially those who are still within the Welsh League setup!

You should all be ashamed of yourselves, if clubs had backed these clubs fighting for survival in the beginning we could have started playing football weeks ago.
Every time you take a look at yourselves in a mirror, remind yourselves that you voted out Seven Sisters, Llantwit Fadre and Troedyrhiw, ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL.

no i don't . you have to have a reason within the rulebook to throw teams out was the point i am making. objectionable behaviour would be something that does not comply with the rulebook that clubs continuosly flout.

Crowthrice please take heed of us all getting together over the next few days and pushing for you and the rebels to be thrown out. You have lost all the confidence of the other clubs and we are fed up to the back teeth with you lot. The biggest laugh is pentwyn who finished in the bottom 2 and are still appealing, what a laugh. Support is growing against you fast and the bad feeling is growing against your club

This topic has no end. One side wants to play football at any cost, irrespective of whether some or all clubs have been lied to/shafted. The other side feel wronged by a dubious/less-than-transparent process.
One thing we can all hope for is that the FAW take this situation by the scruff of the neck and resolve it before the 1st of September.

Oh yes Ian I will take heed but why I and Cardiff City should be pushed out I am not quite sure.
As an observer of this sorry debacle I now see why Dave Jones was keen to get Cardiff City under the FA umbrella.
People who try to put a balanced view and not being involved with clubs put a perspective on the current situation which is so sadly lacking. It smacks of the playground and who's gang are you in.
If the FAW really cared for the game they would intervene for the good of Welsh Football. If they stepped in and promised that an independent review of the Welsh League was carried out then perhaps, but I wouldn't hold my breath, people would get on with the season . My sympathies lie with Llantwit,Seven Sisters and Troedyrhiw who seemed to have been left adrift in this whole sorry debacle.

Matt and ian i dont know what club youre from and to be honest i dont really care but youre having a serious pop at pentwyn and i would agree with you until they allowed Risca back in ,who also finished in a bonafide relegation position(bottom 3) This is where the problem lies once they accepted risca back in and were willing to relegate teams who finished above them it opened the floodgates

Oh dear. Lack of research again.
Risca were not in the drop zone because only 2 sides are coming up so only 2 would go down.
Pentwyn were also so ridiculously far adrift at the foot that in most other seasons they would have finished rock bottom last by a distance with over 100 goals conceded.
That is why people think it's ridiculous that they are appealing I think although I personally don't know anything about the club.

I have seen a copy of both letters and it is true they are both contradicting each other. But the one thing I have to say in support of the 9 clubs is that the letter that the WL sent out yesterday is signed by Paul Evans an employee of the FAW. The letter send to the 9 clubs stating 'at no time to date has the FAW Council or its committee or sub committee made a decision to refuse to accept any decision made by the clubs at any General meeting of the WFL. In particular, the FAW has not to date refused to accept 54 clubs in a 3 division WFL for the 2010.2011 season' was signed by the Jonathan Ford Chief Executive of the FAW.
Now hold on here, wouldn't you question what the bloody hell was going on here, I know I would? That seems to me is all these clubs have done, is to ask a question.
The season has been delayed because all the clubs voted for an 18, 18, 18 set up at Sophia gardens and the WL in their wisdom took that back to the FAW to ask if that was ok , they didn't need to do that. The clubs had voted for an 54 club league - IT SHOULD HAVE ENDED THERE! We would have then started the season on 14th August.
The WL committee are responsible for the season kicking off late.
Good luck to everyone in the coming season.

The Equalizer, if you are going to question someone's lack of research, maybe you should get your own research correct. As only 2 teams came into the Welsh Football League, due to no entry from the West Wales area, only 2 go down. 1 was Garw who finished bottom of the Welsh league Division 3, and the other Maesteg Park who folded. Therefore Pentwyn didn't get relegated out of the Pyramid System and therefore had as much a right of appeal as the other clubs involved. Bit more research required I think!!!!!!!!
