Can I ask a few things?
It seems ridicolous that this whole matter has dragged on for what is inexcess of a year!
The Clubs losing places in the Welsh League should be fully supported in light of the recent "letters" and whilst financially the Clubs may not be able to fight the system - a full investigation needs to be had and UEFA shoul be contacted to investigate. Whilst media attention and external investigation should be undertaken. Some one is to Blame - WHO its certainly not the clubs being kicked out -
A few questions - can anyone share thoughts?
Welsh Premier Why has the Welsh Premier been reduced Who made the decision - Were Clubs happy with this decision? Why has promotion to this decision been denied in last few years?
Welsh League Why has the Welsh League stated it had to reduce member clubs? Who made the directive stating it had to be 16*3 was it UEFA/FAW or Welsh League? So who then made directive to change to 16,16,18? If not ground criteria how can a ream finishing 3rd bottom remain and teams above be relagated? Why was a 4th Division not considered so 4*16 allowing promtions from within Pyramid system and protecting any Welsh League Clubs dropping into Pyramid? Who has inspected the grounds to ensure all meet the specified criterea - is this checklist available for audit? Why has 3 teams been promotioned within the Welsh League Divisions when upto 6 been relegated/demoted and no promo to Premier? Why has Promotion into the WL been allowed for 2 sides when relegating 6?
Has any clubs engaged with the welsh media, have they directed issues to the FAW and UEFA?
Are the 50 "safe" Clubs happy with the Welsh League Mananagemt Committee, their honesty, their stewardship and their endeavers to protect & promote the league and its member clubs? Or is there a sense of incompetence? have they been bending over to those above? have they lied to member clubs? have they served with their member clubs best interests in mind? Do they seem bothered at the pain this has caused all Clubs in Wales?
Somehow, something has gone wrong - it was flagged up over a year ago that there would be issues, they were not addressed. This MUST be investigated, Must be reported, Must be addressed and those at fault should be removed from their position!
But spare a thought to those demoted to the pyramid, who may lose players, management and committee and take many years if ever to get the welsh league status back particularly those in S Wales with maximum of 1 per year.
These Clubs have been "shit on" from above , but for what and by who?
The whole things sums up the football in this country - disgraceful. FAW trust coaches all our coaches yet can not have a voice on the development of leagues from mini football to seniors???

Matt,
Good writer-poor reader.
I predict Cardiff City will not have to enjoy 3rd Division.
Cheers

Dont want to go over old ground but..... As a player in the 3rd division last season we were told that a possible 8 could go down! We fought like hell all season despite despite being 6th going into April that we still had a chance of getting relegated.
Dont get me wrong, I thought the way the welsh league went about it was wrong but we all new at the start of the season that the bottom 8 would go down.
Why should clubs appeal? Especially Any of those in the bottom 5?
