They could of course defer any decision on resignation due to being unclear of status of secretaries etc. pending the AGM, deduct the necessary points of BT (for consistancy sake) . Allow the games to go ahead (poss at neutral venue for Barry home game) make a recommendation to AGM as let's face it ..its really no skin off anyone's nose.
Procrastination ... always a legitimate tactic on the grounds that some things resolve themselves.. in time. Been used before too!

The welsh league met tonight to thrash out the Lovering issue so when will they release their decisions or way forward?

Trouble is that this prat Lovering has registered Barry Town as a company with Companies House with himself as Director. I might suggest BTSC apply to the league as say AFC Barry and that the Welsh League call an Extraordinary Meeting of clubs to vote whether they can stay in the league. Due to the extreme circumstances with their Chairman and the fact that the Supporters have run the club for 2 seasons I feel sure the majority of clubs would agree to the change as it isnt as if the club have financial problems. There has to be found a way to keep this group of people who are fighting for their lives to keep their club in existance to stay in the league.

The Welsh League has been turned into a laughing stock by Lovering. He's used a historic club to massage his ego without any thought of the long term consequence. Thousands of players and supporters have given their all to Barry Town and now ONE person has brought an abrupt end to it. Given the demise of Neath and Llanelli it would maybe easier to chew if we had gone out of business while in the WPL due to finance but to be dragged out of the Welsh League with just 2 games to complete is the ultimate statement of an idiot with a huge chip on his shoulder. The news of Barry's withdrawal is noticeable by it's absence on the official Welsh League site (apart from small print under the league table). Maybe the decision to withdraw the club was the safest option for the league committee in terms of possible counter legal action by the idiot. The old saying that "no one person is bigger than the football club" has been buried in this terrible saga. RIP Barry Town and Jenner Park.

Absolute nightmare for all connected with Barry Town. Not quite sure of how it all got into a position that one man had all the say at the club? I know our club like most works off the basis of a constitution which would not allow for a single person to hold down all the key positions at a club. Big loss to the WL and will throw a spanner in the works for the WL committee who now have the job of sorting out the implications of Barry's departure as well as the amalgamation of Bridgtirion!........Guess there is a possibility of Tata Steel staying up? ?

The Welsh League always save a club/s from going down rather than getting an extra club to come up. This is a pity as the club saved from going down has usually been struggling to stay up whilst the team trying to gain promotion wants to get into a higher division. Lets have some movement in the league and avoid stagnation.

Lovering bought Barry Town for I believe £115,000.00. If someone bought any Club outright, such as say Caldicot, & the Committee sold it to them then they too could do whatever they wanted with it!
An absolute farce & one I hope the FAW can sort out!

Have they had the play-off with the South Wales League yet (Cardiff). If not, the why not promote both teams up with Cwmamman United & Lliswery.. The 3 from the bottom of div 3, and 1 extra space from the merger between Bryntirion & Bridgend. Then they can either put Barry & Llanelli in div 3 to start again, or if they have to start at the bottom, it will save 1 club from being relegated. What do you think it should be.

It's common knowledge that Chepstow Town played a ringer and not fair on Ponty who just missed out after playing by the rulebook. At the moment the entire league is riddled with problems, what a mix!! clubs in financial disaster, incestuous ownership and cheating with an imposter players. POLSKI FOREVER !!
