I would say that Llanelli will come down from the Welsh Premier due to their financial troubles and that would save Afan Lido. Coming into the league will be probably Lliswerry from the Gwent County as they have now resolved their problem with midweek fixtures.

Scenario.Lllanelli relegated for financial difficulties, Afon Lido saved (if they want to stay up) Haverfordwest NOT promoted No if teams in Div 1 -17 ( not allowed) .Therefore 4 not 3 relegated. (shades of season 20110/11 when 5 teams were relegated from Div 1) Word is that Afon Lido cannot afford to stay ) Any other scenarios?

If no one goes up, and Lido & Llanelli come down, then it will be 5 from div 1, 2 & 3, which is unfair,

Lido Secretary confirmed in Twitter 2 weeks ago they will not ask to be relegated & want to remain in WPL
Welsh Lg rules do not make any reference to more than 3 being relegated & when this was possible with Neath last year the word was a 17 team Div 1 for a year do everyone knew if additional relegation spot at start if season.
Sully Sports or Rhoose will be promoted from South Wales & I believe Cwmaman Utd are looking like a swift return from down West!

I,m no league eagle but my understanding is that Llanelli will not be a football club next season once they get wound up so they cannot be relegated or retained in the prem. Feasibly a new club could be formed but they would have to start in local football and be called something slightly different. Forget about Llanelli being in any equation next season as the high court hearing looks ominous plus they won't have a home ground either!! Very sad but a stark reality of clubs living above their realistic means.

My predictions:
WPL down to WL: Llanelli (or bust) plus Afan Lido if Haverfordwest go up WL up to WPL: Haverfordwest or none WL down to feeders: any three from Treharris, Bettws, Newcastle Emlyn, Aber, Treowen
Feeders up to WLD3: * From South Wales: Sully or Rhoose * From WWFA: Cwmamman or Ystradgynlais * From Gwent: Lliswerry

Lol, you haven't really put your neck on the line there! Not really a prediction, just basic mathematics.

Haha - I know, sorry!
But I don't follow the WL as closely these days plus in the past people get annoyed if you predict their team will go down... ;-)
I did want to clear-up the whole up/down scenario between the WL and feeders though. Mainly because it means we'll avoid relegation this season provided we don't finish 15th :-)

Cwmamman Utd Promoted to the Welsh League as Runners Up of the Neath and District League. Absolute farce when we have to Play off for the third time with the AMATEUR league champs. After winning our league last season by 19 points and 10 points this season in a 16 team division. Now we face another play off!

too true Sully, but it should be the last time a play off will be necessary due to the amalgamation of both Leagues

Scrill better get calculator out again !! If Mr Lovering does carry out his threat and remove Barry before season ends apparently did with U19s today then their record expunged would effect everything at Top West End lose 2pts,Cambrian 3pts, Havywest and Taffs Well 6 pts, Aberdare 1pt, Monmouth 3pts, and us Nil points, lost twice them. Bottom Caerleon biggest losers as they beat Barry twice , 6pts Celtic,Tata,Bridgend all would lose 3pts each

Huw, Barry have two games left, both against us, I spoke to Gavin on Saturday and he assured me that the games would be played. Now we get the letter from the Chairman of BTSC. I have asked ken Tucker for clarification, but I agree their withdrawal would cause havoc.

Just to say that good luck to Cwmamman promoted from a 12 team district league (I wish).... With many teams in the Senior /Amateur leagues now having required criteria for Welsh League it would make sense to have added a fourth Welsh League division, as a lot of these teams will never ever get into the Welsh League set up.
