Cutting your cloth accordingly by having just 2 subs means playing recreational parks level not in the premier league of Wales. I know there’s financial balancing but they have got this very wrong. Put it this way I wouldn’t ask their head honcho for any business advice if I was thinking of organising a piss up in a brewery. On the evidence of what’s happened at Llanelli this season I reckon he’d cock it right up Huw, You can have ambition and the want to better yourself, but if you know that your out of your depth and putting all those years of hard work at risk then it’s a silly decision to take it on. Would you at Porth look to better yourselves knowing you can’t afford to do it, and you haven’t the support to do it also. It’s called business acumen and good club decision making. The Faw are always on about running clubs properly, it’s about time clubs do that. You don’t look to buy a porshe and work part time for RCT County Council. Come on ,Good decision making comes before the Lack of Ambition card which is always used. Llanelli were lucky not to be relegated to the West Wales League. It’s only a matter of time before they go under again. Not sure you (as in everyone, not you personally) can have it both ways. Either they're cutting their cloth accordingly by having a small squad / lack of subs, or they're over-spending and having a squad of 30. Surely they're not overspending on having a small squad? Especially considering their league position?

It was alluded to earlier in the thread how the transfer window dosnt apply in the feeder leagues so Welsh league and Cymru alliance clubs can sign players from WPL clubs but those clubs can not replace those players untill the transfer window opens which seems to have been the problem here. Llanelli have now signed a few players now including the legend that is Leon Britton so arranging a drinks party in a factory producing alcoholic beverages may well be within the capabilities of Llanellis directors! As for criticising them for taking the step up,we at Harri West know full well how difficult it is to stay in a 12 club league having lasted only 1 season the last time we went up in 2015. Dosnt mean you dont give it a go if you get the chance. You only end up where you were before if relegated so whats the difference. This type of negativity is whats held the South clubs back and has led to Northern dominance of the league since Llanelli won it in 2008.Hopefully with the FAW taking over the feeder leagues next season becoming part of the national set up wel eventually get a proper pyramid system where all the clubs want promotion.

Can't wait to see Leon Brittain and his club with the "parks mentality" on Pontcanna, can "5thofficial or oggymoore" notify us when this occurs !! Good luck Llanelli and well done for obtaining another signature to create added interest in Welsh Football
