In the eyes of UEFA the WPL is the flagship of football in this country, likewise the Premiership in England. Ok the WPL is Mickey Mouse compared to the Premiership but it is what it is. As for spurs not having their own ground I find that statement laughable because they are constructing a stadium that will be the envy of clubs around Europe. The seating is fantastic, apparently they used Windmill Lane’s level seating as a model !! <iframe width="20.360000000000014" height="3.8799999999999955" style="position: absolute; width: 20.360000000000014px; height: 3.8799999999999955px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 15px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT1_45479760" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="20.360000000000014" height="3.8799999999999955" style="position: absolute; width: 20.36px; height: 3.88px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 961px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT1_46400497" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="20.360000000000014" height="3.8799999999999955" style="position: absolute; width: 20.36px; height: 3.88px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 134px;" id="MoatPxIOPT1_66376419" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="20.360000000000014" height="3.8799999999999955" style="position: absolute; width: 20.36px; height: 3.88px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 961px; top: 134px;" id="MoatPxIOPT1_95421328" scrolling="no"></iframe> Well now you're just insulting Mickey Mouse..

Not having a go at Llanelli with my comment but why when you are operating at the highest level of welsh domestic football and in your own words 4 players left due to lack of game time have you not got a reserve side playing in the welsh league.

lets not forget the refs, they have it in for Llanelli Blimey you end your mediocre reply with such a crap statement. If you have evidence then contact the FAW and they will sack them all.

Huw it’s admirable that some clubs try to play at the highest level possible but to play at the higher level they have to run the club in tandem with the demands and prestige. Going up to the WPL and then only signing 19 players is like making the effort to buy a new car but not putting any petrol in it. You’ll then wonder why the car doesn’t work whilst all the other people with new cars fill their tanks up to the brim and then successfully zoom around with plenty of petrol in reserve if they need it.

A full tank increases car "running costs". Llanelli probably (and rightly so) have finances and "running costs"to the forefront of their plans, given recent history. Perhaps a little naive in not signing "non-cost players" as a contingency, sure they will learn from this experience.
Obviously not supported with tax payers money as teams like Cardiff Met.

It is a bit of an anomaly that the transfer window dosnt apply to the feeder leagues allowing Welsh league and Cymru alliance clubs to sign WPL players throughout the season but not vice versa.Im surprised this hasnt caused clubs more problems over the years as it seems to have this season at Llanelli. With the FAW taking over the running of the feeder leagues next season I wonder if the transfer window will be applied at tier 2 next season as it will be part of the national strucure. I wouldnt have a problem with that as it would be a level playing field for everybody and the current system might tend to weaken the WPL and its clubs which isnt what we want. Llanelli has a good side in the WPL development league south in which 3 overage players can play plus 2 on the bench and is effectively the reserve side for some of those clubs.A 10 team league though with just 18 league games. The youngsters in those teams can be signed for the senior squad but the problen is at times a lot of them would rather play for their local parks club on a saturday than sit om the bench for their WPL club, and the one club rule prevents the from signing for 2 clubs at senior level in different leagues.

Made a mess of their last visit to the Welsh Prem, and their doing it again. They never learn, Andy Hill is not a Welsh Premier League Manager.

Huw, You can have ambition and the want to better yourself, but if you know that your out of your depth and putting all those years of hard work at risk then it’s a silly decision to take it on. Would you at Porth look to better yourselves knowing you can’t afford to do it, and you haven’t the support to do it also. It’s called business acumen and good club decision making. The Faw are always on about running clubs properly, it’s about time clubs do that. You don’t look to buy a porshe and work part time for RCT County Council. Come on ,Good decision making comes before the Lack of Ambition card which is always used. Llanelli were lucky not to be relegated to the West Wales League. It’s only a matter of time before they go under again.

Just 2 outfield players on the bench for their derby game yesterday. Pathetic absolutely pathetic and embarrassing.

Either they're cutting their cloth accordingly by having a small squad / lack of subs, or they're over-spending and having a squad of 30. Surely they're not overspending on having a small squad? Especially considering their league position?
