With a tidy 3 points picked up by us yesterday away from home it keeps div 2 wide open. Any 3 of 6 or 7 could still go up. Anyone taking a punt?

Only 5 in with a chance
Ponty STM Llantwit or Garden Village
Ammanford also in the shake up.
Wasn't overly impressed with ponty yesterday and the 3 points keep us right in it. Need to follow up on Wednesday

Sorry to burst Llantwit's over excitement but it won't just be league position that will achieve promotion. At the moment only Risca, Caldicot, Aberdare, and possibly Garden Village meet Tier 2 criteria. And it's just not covered seating that's required. Of those named both Caldicot and Risca are still in with a shout. I believe the criteria should be in place by 31st March, doesn't give them much time.

Do any of these five clubs have the required 250 seats? If not they cannot be promoted, can they?

Nobody over excited in Llantwit just enjoying a much better season than expected. Pressure on the teams spending at the top. Caldicott and Risca have no chance of top 3 given the number of games they have already played. If they go up on any other basis then good luck to them.

If you also purchase 99 mannequins you”ll have a full house every game. Do any of these five clubs have the required 250 seats? If not they cannot be promoted, can they? It is a 100 seats and I believe ours will be in on time

it is 100 and I understand that most will have that in place by the end of March 2018 including us - who knows if they will be needed at this point as the League is wide open for six or seven clubs to finish in the top 3.

The pyramid and Tier2 regs say so. Whether you can atract enough bums to fill them is your problem. In my view, any club playing or wanting to play in Div1 should be getting gates of at least 100 minimum.

It's no problems as the club lives within its budget. Crowds are getting bigger slowly and that will naturally increase as you go higher.
We raised the money for the seats in less than 3 weeks but it is money that could of been spent on other things.
We have only been in the Welsh league for a few seasons and the progress has been amazing.
So maybe time to cut that chip off your shoulder scoutman

There’s not many clubs that can double their attendances fairplay Major. If you manage to drag another poor soul along to Landfill Lane for the next game you’ll be trebling your gates. In all seriousness getting the cash together in such as short space of time is a fine achievement and proof that there’s a real togetherness at the club. Football in the Vale is flying high.
