Yes it is correct a Nathaniel cup win and top 6 finish in year 1, then gwent cup final and missing out in promotion by a whisker all on a zero budget obviously wasn't good enough.

definately think your right about the snake in the camp knowing football in Cwmbran!! Shocking decision and so glad I left the welsh league to go gwent county. Its the chairman and committees that need to have a long hard look at how there clubs are run and remember they are not as big and knowlegable as they think and want to be!!

Gareth did a fine job and took the club to their finest hour but all good things come to an end.Lets hope that Croesy get back to winning under the new coach and Gareth lifts Llanrumneys fortunes.

I find it amazing that croesy have come to this decision,
once again the people from from gwent never cease to amaze me and once again your hatred of people from cardiff is evident ,
Small club with big ideas yet you play on a poxy cabbage patch
and are second to cricket when it comes to sport.
Watched you few times and the abuse you give to people who work for nothing is nothing short of shamefull.
Big time back stabbing from so called commitee members and players
who havent the balls to tell the man to his face.
Never mind you can appoint a yes man to run your team
jody jenkins springs to mind he will do whatever you tell him.

gareth morgan managed to take croesy to the great heights of what exactly! 1 cup win!!! with players he brought in or the ones that were already there? I think if you actually stop spouting and have a good look whats really gone on! they have conceded 27 goals in 8 games (+5 against there reserve team) making it 32 in 9 games and as with all football (it is a results business) + most of the players had requested for him to be relieved of his postion as he didnt agree with there request for a style of football that suited them( not kick and rush)

Steve you are so full of crap it's untrue - if we all wanted him out is that why we all turned up and expressed our discust to the Committee last night?
We are all gutted Gareth is gone. But it's done now. Why on earth you feel the need to try and belittle what he did for us is beyond me.

I have only just noticed the thing about apparently conceding 5 to the reserve team.
Oh my god, if that was one of the reasons you really deluded. The only friendly we played was 2 teams which were both a mixture of 1sts & 2nds.
The fact that you post such things really does show the intelligence levels of those who have made this shocking state of affairs possible!

I wil break my self imposed exile from all the crap on here, because this sacking stinks..no question what on earth are the Commitee thinking you have a guy who lives,breaths sleeps and eats football ,one of the nicer guys involved with the Welsh league, who has principles and does things the right way and he gets sacked....madness.

player! if you really are a player! you might be petending to be one whislt putting your boots on, croesy shirt etc etc not putting any effort in and complaining that your manager is then sacked!
If you and your team mates show half as much fight Gareth Morgan would probably be still in a job!

gents! to put all your pathetic back biting to rest, Gareth Morgan was sacked from his job due to poor results, social network slating of commitee members(personal),slagging of newport county on social network, poor team spirit in camp.
and who ever PLAYER is, Men dont hide! if you were at training last night you were told this by the club chairman! there was no comments of disgust! Quite the reverse in fact! Players acknowledged their part in the down fall of Gareth, and also their displeasure of poor pre season, effort in games, poor tactics etc etc.
we appreciate Gareth done a good job, but unfortunately things were not right, so he was let go! cafc
