why oh why cant we just get on with it? in a previous quote it was stated 'wouldnt you do what was best for your club!' and then the same person asked for a rallying call from all clubs! haha. so ok heres the answer, lets decide on ground criteria alone, as it stands NOW so no changes are to be made from today onwards. Then we will see who supports who because i guarantee something, the clubs that have appealed and those who ahve supported them will be witch hunted by whoever is running the league in future. So they had better make sure there own house is in order whether they are top or bottom of the league! There a plenty of clubs who will be glad to go up to welsh league and take the places of those who have been complacent over the past few years. Many Gwent county sides are planning ground improvements over the next season or so and it really doesnt take long to get the ground to standard if the money is there. I for one would love to see some of the so-called bigger clubs take responsibility for the poor way they have been run and admit that they have made mistakes. Can i also ask who would stand to serve on the comittee if they do all resign? Because i for one wouldnt after all this hassle.

So what are we now waiting for? Presumably a court judgement that says that the FAW are either allowed or not allowed to relegate the extra clubs...based on the evidence the WL can bring to the table to refute the allegations that they've not done things correctly?
So the season will be starting some time in November then i guess...

As for Risca, they came in bottom three, watched them play a few times this season, very poor side who deserve to be relegated. How they are trying to contest it when coming in the bottom three is shocking to be honest.
Sorry for the harshness but it's true.
I do however feel for the other sides who came 6th and seventh from bottom that it is a disgrace that they are relegated. Things should just stand as bottom three relegated top three propmoted. Don't fix things that aren't broken!

Whatever the pros and cons of this argument (and I have some sympathy with relegated clubs as I feel it would have been better to phase the reduction of Divisions in over 2/3 years) they have left it far too late to do something about the situation. All the clubs I have spoken to were in no doubt about what was going to happen at the end of the season and the member clubs of the Welsh League have had ample opportunity during the season to do something about it if they felt so strongly about the decision.
In spite of the arguments being put forward, there are far too many risks attached to withdrawing from the pyramid system and I don't think there's a hope in hell of getting a majority of clubs to agree to this.
If the action that's being taken results in the start of the season being postponed or (god forbid!) the season being lost totally, then I don't think the clubs that cause this will do themselves or the League any good in the long run. I hope everyone comes to their senses soon and this matter is put to bed so that we can all get on with planning for the season ahead

At last!!!! Someone talking sence. The Welsh Football League & Welsh Football must be the priority now, so lets crack on and sort it before we (The Welsh Football League) become a laughing stock of British Football. Some may say we are already 'The Laughing Stock', and who would argue with that? So lets move on and move forward. So come on WFL, SORT IT & SORT IT NOW!!!!

YES!!
Croesyceiliog have been stripped of the Welsh League Cup because Goytre United have a nicer ground - so the cup goes to them because only clubs with lovelly grounds are allowed to succeed and clubs without them are not fit to win / achieve anything.....
Ridiculous

About time they had one criteria for D1 and one for D2+D3. But that's probably for another season, after all this mess is sorted out.

I hear Sepp Blatter couldn't really enjoy the World Cup because his priority is to ensure that Welsh League has only got 16 teams in each league for next Season . At last Welsh League in its rightful place the main agenda item for FIFA

Rica & Pontyclun won their appeals at 6 PM this evening and therefore stay in the league. I am told the others still go down!?!?!?!?
No idea what this means for the numbers and makeup of the leagues though!!
