Any other friendly game results out there? We start tomorrow night against UWIC (Dinas P). Only ones I know of from Div 2 clubs are Newport YMCA 1-6 Stoke City 6 (I am officially jeaous by the way!) & STM Sports 2-4 Croesyceiliog. These were last weekend. A bit early for games in my humble view but a good work-out. Croesyceiliog website also states they beat Undy Athletic away 4-0 early this week.
I know Taffs Well have played a couple of lower league teams winning one and drawing the other.
Bridgend Street beat Aber Valley 6-3 last weekend as well I am told (unconfirmed).
I think most clubs start their games end of this week / on the weekend!
Any other scores out there?

Ton Pentre 0 Merthyr 3 good workout, the fact that this was Merthyr's 4th game and our 1st, did make a diference, but towards the end Merthyr were the better side, First half we matched them, but match practice told. Some good players made their debut for Ton and should secure a place in Deano's eventual line up. Hope Craigs injury not too serious hate him miss his welcome down at Dinas Park ;D

talking about friendlies it seems strange that Cambrian are being entertained by other clubs for all their 8 games and are not playing any at home. If all clubs did that there wouldnt be any games. I dont think they have cricket going on there.

Unfortunately for Cambrian, their ground is owned by RCT, and the council will not sanction any games on their grounds until Aug 7. This applies to all RCT grounds

According to Cambrian friendly list they are away to Pontypridd Town on th 4th August so that cant be true about rct.

We are having our referees' changing rooms extended, some work to the away and home rooms, toilet facilities and some further work to the pitch done, hence why all our teams have been forced to play away. Hopefully it will be looking good and the surface will benefit from the extra rest for the new season!
