Caldicot?? they will be struggling to field a side from what it seems, never mind win the league!
Monmouth could come good in div 2, im guessing cambrian and goytre would be in with a good shout as well as havvy west. Be interesting to see how the promoted teams do too

They've signed Ryan Shugars from Goytre United and already have a team full of pace and aggression. I saw them play at Jenner last season and was gobsmacked with their fitness movement and clinical approach. We fielded our full squad and were torn to shreds 10-1 at home I also watched them totally crucify thier title challengers Sully Sports without raising a sweat. They are one mean machine that left a lasting impression on us. wot players do bridgend st have that could play in div 1? i could nt see any on there website?

I think Croesyceiliog will win Division 2. Also in the promotion race will be the three relegated clubs, Newport YMCA and Ely Rangers.
In division 1 it will be interesting to see if Bryntirion were one-season-wonders or if they can mount a successful title defence. Cambrian will be up there along with the usual suspects Goytre and Bridgend. I think Haverfordwest will win though.

I'm hearing from a very reliable source that Barry town have been all but bought by a local consortium. If this is true then you have to put them up towards the top too.

As at now Barry Town is still in the hands of the current owner. We are aware of a consortium trying to put a deal together but until any deal is done starting rumours is unhelpful. Barry Town Supporters Committee are very busy fundraising in order to keep the Club going whilst a buyer is found. We all hope that a deal will be forthcoming but knowing our history with the current owner until a deal is signed, sealed and delivered we carry on as if nothing has happened - we have seen too many rumours to believe a deal has been done.

let's be honest, with the level of upheaval Barry have had to endure over the last 6 months or so, just completing a division 1 season would be a fine achievement. i wouldn't expect them to be challenging for honours though.
no-one could blame last season's squad for moving on to clubs with more secure futures, and the longer the saga drags on the less chance the new management team will have to build a competitive squad.

I think as it stands we will be competitive but to stay in Division One would be success for us. Having said that 8 of last season's squad have already signed with hopefully a few more to come. They have done so in the knowledge that there is no money to pay them but they will have great coaching and trainings sessions. Just shows there is some loyalty at this level and they are not all chasing money.

I think Bridgend will take time to gel (again) as they apparently are going thorough alot of player changes (again). Cambrian have been solid for a good few years now and I cant see how they wont be good again...
Monmouth and Croesy for me in Div 2, seriously cant see Caldicot competing with their old school manager, should have given cadette the job instead of the assistant position!
Be interesting to see what happens with aberamans new management trio of jarman, philips and mark evans. They will struggle to get players unless they got the $$$ back
