Its been confirmed it is Nathan cadette for Caldicot , My source says Only half a dozen caldicot first team players attended the meeting and a number of their players have already indicated they are leaving for pastures new next season ?

Another one bites the dust - Dinas Powys are now recruiting after Mark Cahill resigned after just 1 year in charge!
Rumors already rife on who is taking over - didn't we have this last Summer?

Latest news i hear from a reliable source at Cwm Celtic is that they have appointed a 65ish year old guy as new manager with no welsh league experience ? , No clear news on the Llanwern manager but have been told by certain Celtic players they wanted him on board to take them further but he wasnt happy with certain in house agendas and stalled ? More Goss when i get a call tonight on that. Also heard caldicot have a big exodus ongoing , 3 have already left for Undy who are splashing cash about and another 4 are going elsewhere locally.

Just to answer the rumours of Mr Burman leaving Newport Civil service, Ian is going to be with the club again next season to continue the good work and hopefully push us on to that next level next season.

Firstly great forum even if the bulk of things are a little off the mark . To answer the above " undy are splashing the cash " well i think that smacks of sour grapes !! The players concerned from caldicot are Undy born & breed & played with myself @ the club before leaving to play football @ a higher level . There will be a £10 win bonus paid this year 2 all players but you can hardly call that splashing the cash !! Feel we should be given a little more credit for assembling a side that won the Gwent County 1st division . Looking forward to bringing this squad to a few welshleague grounds this year

I erd from a reliable source that undy have a wealthy backer and players are getting between £ 50 - £ 100 per game this season.

crooky, can you reveal the caldicot 3 ? For players to drop a level there must be a bit more incentive than a lousy tenner, come on,we are not all mugs on here.
