So results may have improved on the pitch (6-0 loss on saturday) but clearly not off the pitch
So the "saviour" barrie hughes has gone probably to manage taffs wells reserves where he should have stayed, "new manager" mark evans will probably join a big spending division 1 club this week, mentioning no names, mark "who" porter?, and your "international physio" faz will turn to the dark side and join either croesy or celtic (or wherever the money is)
So lets face facts for a change shall we? No manager, no coaching staff, no management and welsh league football? i dont think so, gwent county here we come - will see you at panteg next season, last one out switch the lights off.
Manager, lets see? hmmm anyone speak to Proctor, Filer, Colcombe or Wharton and they will tell you about the club or even better anyone who cares about football in cwmbran what they think about the club. Now the management have gone, will a certain person now go with them

Is the see you at panteg a clue on who you are then? I have a feeling some comments are even from people involved with cwmbran town and are too afraid to put there name on here for obvious reasons! No one can deny the club seem to be in a mess both on and off the pitch and maybe change all round is needed.

No one can deny the club seem to be in a mess both on and off the pitch and maybe change all round is needed. That's the big question though isn't it? We've had so much upheaval in the past 6 seasons (3 different chairs and about 6 different managers). What's best? Stability, or constant change/new personnel? You could look at Cwmbran Celtic and say stabilitiy has seen them move up the divisions over the last 8 years or so. And you could look at Bridgend's 6-monthly change of manager and ask whether that's what's stopping them from finishing in the top 2....? I can only think of one club off the top of my head that's managed some success with constant changes and that's Chelsea! Goes to show that the Welsh League has just the same sort of problems as the richest leagues in the world!!

there do seem to be a couple of people on this message board who have an axe to grind with cwmbran. Not sure putting messages on this board will help the club though. Why dont you tt crow and delph go and help if you care that much, seems the sensible thing to do. Now can we get back to some decent debate...... FAW ticket debarcle?

I can confirm that a further division 1 club is currently "recruiting" after the departure of the "Gaffer" this week. However, as the last time I named names on here was met with accusations of it somehow being "stirring" I will let "Guest" break the news to you on their identity!
Anyone out there looking for a job? There are a few about!

And you cant expect managers/coaches that have been sacked from a club to have anything good to say about it now can you..... lets play fair.

Go on Legend, don't let people put you off. Which manager had resigned/been fired?
One of the current bottom 5 i'd wager, but not Caldicot (just had a good result) or Celtic (stability over underwear changing).

Quite agree tt crow the club is in a right mess, only a certain chairwoman will tell you whats going on. Never mind we will go down this year and she will resign and blame some one else for the demise of a welshprem club to gwent county team. If you care about this club purcell go now and go play mickey mouse chairwoman some where else.

I would like to reply to ttcrow post.
I simply love how personal you are getting without naming yourself and how many of these people have you mentioned do you know? Turning into another anti cwmbran post.
Barrie - very nice guy, knows his stuff Mark Evans - connections, great coach will probably be higher soon Mark Porter - lower league coach and character, every club needs one Faz - international physio, you said mate it, how many of them are in the welsh league and with regards to turning to the darkside, your joking, very committed and loves the game. I think its an insult by saying he will leave when the money comes in, i can think of clubs he has turned down this season alone to stay with the town, and im not even involved with cwmbran (and has helped us out more than once this season!)
ttcrow, stop living in the past and have a look how much welsh league football has changed, or are you still in your armchair watching liverpool and sulking that you cant a wales v england ticket? Or are you moaning at panteg?
i hope the club for the chairwomans sake and the future make the right appointment, i dont want to see them in gwent county.
All the best from sunny tredegar

No way Cardiff Corries? Why would they leave when they are having not a bad season and not relegation fodder which most would have predicted?

I must say that running a football club these days is differcult enough and the people who give up their time to try and help and improve their local club should be applauded and not crucified internally within their club and definately not externally on this board. Dont think its fair or helpful. What club committees need is help within the community, to support it financially through whatever fund raising or sponsorship can be obtained locally. Local people encouraged to watch and support the matches and maybe get involved in moving clubs forward and in the right direction. In these days of the economic downturn the cost of sustaining a Welsh League Club is astranomic, thats just to survive without taking on improvements to ground criteria which have to be tackled. There are good people involved in the Welsh League and I havent met anybody yet who doesnt want their club to be successful on and off the pitch.
