If you could pick an ideal Welsh Premier League of the usual 12 places, who would you have in the WPL? I was speaking to a friend regarding this earlier, and we spoke about which teams could ideally attract people to watch their local side if in the WPL. Which sides could help the WPL gain more recognition? I think we need at least 1 club from our major South Wales cities; Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, to attract more supporters, and of course up North Wales the strong supported Bangor City, Rhyl and a side from Wrexham would be fantastic. My ideal Welsh Premier League; 1) Cardiff Grange Harlequins (Cardiff based, WL Div 3) 2) AFC Llanelli 3) Cwmbran Celtic (Cwmbran based, WL Div 1) 4) Bangor City 5) Garden Village (Near Swansea, WL Div 2) 6) Pen-y-bont FC 7) Newport YMCA (Newport based, WL Div 2) 8) The New Saints 9) Rhyl 10) Port Talbot 11) West End (Swansea based, 1st WL Div 1) 12) Barry Town* (Barry based) or Porthmadog. Mostly decided by population of area, club stature & facilities of certain clubs. Couldn't do it just on population of course, as North Wales is empty. Let's have your's.

Mengaldief Rd (YMCA) over Newport Stadium is an interesting one when you have put Quins in instead of Caerau Ely lol

None of the South sides would meet the criterior, lets not forget Ton Pentre, who would not meet he criterior now, but were probably the most successfull of Southern sides for 4 years alongside cwmbran and Barry, before they we pulled out for financial reasons

Bangor City Caernarfon Rhyl Bala Aberystwyth Carmarthen Ton P entre Port Talbot Haverfordwest Barry Pontypridd Monmouth Town
That's what I'd go for facilities allowimg. A good balance geographically, best supported clubs, places that represent towns rather than suburbs

I recall the cardiff grange Quins last episode in the welsh prem when their attendances were around 30 home supporters and they consisted of ex players. I remember going along to one game and and counted more people in the dug out than were in the stand and that's gods honest truth.
