Apparently the rebel clubs are due to meet in Cardiff tonight.
Lads drop your appeal tonight so we can play football next week.

Here is what I have read on the South Wales Amateue League Forum
Name:Roger Howells E-Mail Address:rogerrhiw@yahoo.co.uk
Comments:As Chairman of Troedyrhiw FC may I say, we as a Club are humbled and grateful for the support that has been shown in some of the comments on this guestbook. We of course understand that we all have different opinions and respect those who have made other viewpoints. All that I need say now though, at this point,to put an end to any more speculation, is that those who we rely on that run football within Wales who should defend and support not only the higher echelons of football in Wales but also the small clubs (those who, as has been proved, have no voice), have stood by and done nothing but watch and witness as individuals within a body of elected representatives of the second most important level of Welsh football enforce their will onto 54 clubs against the wishes of those clubs (who probably now realise it, all but to late), who they are there to look after, in what can only be described as a circus of betrayal. For the clubs who did realise this and wanted to do something about it,yes, because it had an impact on them, they have found little or no support in puting right a wrong and because of this they have decided that there are to be no injunctions, appeals or further disruption as those who sought to bring to light the moral injustices that have taken place have decided to step back. The reason for this is the majority of clubs (who just want to get the season started) will, so it seems, do as they are told. The financial implications to attempt to right a wrong is also way beyond such small clubs (and those in power, so it seems, can hide behind this). So, just to provide the correct information to anyone concerned, we as a Club will start the season on Sept 1st in the Amateur League. We do not think that this is the end of the whole matter of what has gone on throughout the last season but one thing is for sure, we would not wish this situation on any other club. To every Club below us who have unfortunately been affected by this whole farce, we apologise. Wednesday, August 25 2010 - 08:36 AM
I have dealt with Roger and he is a genuine guy.
Unfortunately his passion run away with him at the meeting in Sophia Gardens and he was talked down. He only said what others were thinking and have written on this forum.
I for one will be sorry that Roger is not involved in our league next season. I hope to see him and the club back very soon.
So it looks like these clubs have given up rightly or wrongly, we all have our views.
Let us all now look forward to a good season.
Lets get the Promotion and Relegation issue sorted early season before it affects people so that people can give their honest views and vote accordingly before their clubs are affected.
