500 lux is the recomended level, believe me that is bright

500 lux is for Welsh Prem, 250 lux is minimum for Welsh League

Perhaps the Welsh League should purchase a few light meters and issue them to referees when they are officiating at league matches under floodlights.
Perhaps upgrading floodlights should be more of a priority with regards to grants for ground improvements?
