Ton Pentre had a very good 2-1 win at Bryntirion last night (Friday 07/12/12). Although Ton have one of the best defensive records in the first division, they've struggled to score. But last night they scored twice in the first ten minutes. They suffered a setback after 30 mins when their former Merthyr striker Joe Leahy was sent off. Bryntirion managed to pull a goal back near the end.
Leahy will now miss three games including Friday's local derby against AFC Porth (at Ton Pentre, kick-off 7.30pm.)

The sacking appears to coincide with the date he threatened to pull the club out of the League. All will be revealed on the BTS website. Lets hope David Cole and his committee who have run the club for the last couple of years win their fight.

What sort of maniac would want the job now? Gavin has been doing an unbelievable job against all odds. A once great club can now be re-named.....no longer a team called Barry Town AFC but now one bloke called Barry Clown
