If you fancy watching a live football match on Friday evening (Nov. 2nd) Ton Pentre are home to local rivals Cambrian. The match kicks off at Ynys Park, Ton Pentre at 7.30pm.
Cambrian are firm favourites to win this one, but it would be a mistake to write off Ton.

Well Huw forecast a draw and it ended 0-0. Credit to both teams for their performance considering the heavy rain. It was the most enjoyable goalless draw I've seen for a long time.
I'm not a fan of Friday night fixtures, especially 7.30pm kick offs, but it must have been the best crowd at Ynys Park this season, far more than a Saturday afternoon these days.

Scrill/Brian, thought both teams tried hardest but that downpour was the killer, greasy surface ball zipping about, that led to sending off caught out by pitch. Thought draw about fair, Cambrian had more shots but Kicker should hit target with that one just before HT. Much like our game pitch very heavy, leg sapping played out in midfield, we rode our luck at times defence rock solid again .
