Here's one.... a certain Mr Blackburn...ex Caerleon, Dinas Powys, Newport YMCA, Newport County goalie is signing for the Kingfishers for a very large wedge of cash per game 16 clean sheets last season mind

....so too has Dan MacDonald 44 goals last time out. (depends on how you define large mind) My Missus and I frequently disagree on that.

I would say that over a ton per game is a large amount of money Lee...even at Welsh Premier level this is considered a big sum. If you can afford to pay that then well done, I am only jealous
Anyway when are the fixtures out...anyone have any preliminary fixtures?

Another good signing for the Kingfishers - Jamie Pitman I remember watching him play for Hereford when my dad took me to watch the Bulls in the late 90s/early 00s. I also remember him working in the local leisure centre (when Hereford dropped into the Conference) when i frequented it when i lived in Hereford for 5 years. Shame he didn't make it as their manager, and a shame they got relegated too - i still watch out for their results. However, he'll bring bags of experience to Town and presumably he's highly qualified, UEFA/coaching-wise. Great coup Monmouth must be dark horses for another promotion Lee?

Mr Blackburn is worth all that money (if indeed its true!) he is the best goal keeper in the Welsh League...Monmouth have got a good one. I had the pleasure of playing in front of him last season...that's why we had 16 clean sheets :-)
