Very suprised to see recent messages regarding Pontyclun on the above website. Most were from Celyn who is also a member of our site. I honestly think it would be better to see messages about our League on this site first. Regarding ground facilities it should be that no clubs should be allowed to enter the league or stay if they havnt the laid down criteria.

I posted on the Welsh Premier Site because there was a section regarding "Welsh League South or Lower" I dont see what the problem was with that? Anyway what's your opinion on what Pontyclun are trying to do?

H Celyn, what I was trying to say was that as this site is a Welsh League site(unofficial) that we should be the first stop for views on this league and not another league who has offered us access as another part of the Welsh pyramid. Re Pontyclun, all I can say is that any club can appeal if there is another club in the league that does not have the laid down grounds criteria. If there is a straight relegation issue with the new club having met all the requirements of the league it should be straight forward case. I havnt been to Llantwit Major for many years so cant really comment but I would like to think that our inspection team kept to the script.

Fair Comment!! What I was told at the AGM that the inspection team were happy with Llantwit Major's ground. My "opinion" is that Pontyclun finished bottom (relegated) Llantwit Major's ground was passed therefore why the appeal. It just seems that we are going back over old ground to be going back to when they appealed last time and two Clubs that finished above them were relegated out the Welsh League. As mentioned on the other forum wasn't fair then and certainly isn't fair now. Why can't they just accept it and concentrate on getting back into the Welsh League. Anyway as said just my opinion.
