Don't forget Aberystwyth. They were in the WL before the WPL was formed. Oh aye- i forgot about them! Could be a crazy situation though, however unlikely it is!

Money for clubs can bring short term happiness but long term downfall, Don't need money to get success it's bring up young loyal players and developing them as future stars like Monmouth Town have done. I hope no teams loose out on anything because of Neaths failure

Does anyone know when Neef have to make a decision by and inform the WL whether they intend to join the league or if they are going to fold, and restart in the Neath League.

Neath RFC sees winding up order dismissed at high court
Neath Football Club, which shares the same owner, has one week to pay its debts.
Neath Rugby Club has escaped a winding-up order at the High Court in London after a dispute over unpaid tax.
A registrar dismissed an order at the request of lawyers for Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) after it accepted its debts had been paid.
Neath Football Club, which shares the same owner, has one week to pay its debts or face being wound up.
Barclays Bank is seeking the separate winding up order after it took over the case from HMRC in March.
In March, the chairman of Neath RFC, Geraint Hawkes said the Principality Premiership club's outstanding liabilities would be met in full to head-off being wound up.
Before Barclays Bank can seek the winding up of the football club it has to show evidence that officials have served a petition on the club after it took over the case.

Neath FC wound up at High Court
Welsh Premier League side Neath FC has been wound up at London's High Court, a week after the rugby club escaped a similar order at the same court.
An official receiver will now handle the football club's affairs following a petition by Barclays Bank.
It had managed to fend off a winding up order in March from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.
Neath Rugby Club, which shares the same owner, escaped a winding-up order on 21 May after a dispute over unpaid tax.
Earlier in May, the football club won a reprieve when paperwork from Barclays was deemed
But on Monday the High Court granted a "usual compulsory order" winding the club up.

we are still awaiting info frrom the powers that be as to the outcome of the "winding up" order on Neath. Does this mean that Neath are no longe in existance , and that Aberamman has avoided relegation, sad for Neath good for Aber. I agree with HUW that Welsh League clubs should not suffer for the mistakes of LOW clubs, beleve me ,this could happen again unless rules are made to avoid it. It should be made clear that if any club in LOW drops out (for any reason) other than being relegated, then they cannot automatically be accepted into the League that they originally played in.

Just a trip into history Scrill. In 1997 your club Ton Pentre resigned from the WPM (not relegated) and returned to the Welsh League First Division to win the title in their first season back and many more after that. I think therefore, that your club set the precedent for any clubs returning from the WPL irrespective of the circumstances of their demise.

All other second tier leagues around Europe accept 'punished' clubs from tier 1. What needs to change is the rule re: relegation. A number should be agreed on before the start of each season. I.e. Aber would be safe this year whether Neath dropped down or not, then for next year make it four down if required.
