From Bridgend Street - congratulations to Undy on their deserved promotion. The table doen't lie and good luck to the other 3 teams battling it out for the two slots. We fell short at the business end of the season due to a few factors - some within our control and some beyond. We are where we are though and will come back fighting. I don't think it would have any bearing for us on promotion wise but the poor standard of refereeing was evident last night at NCS. We played well on a shocking pitch against a bunch of "hoofers." The ref had an absolue shocker (he was also involved in similar controversy on Sunday in a cup final at Taffs Well FC) with baffling decisions awarded against both teams. None more so for his decision to give NCS a free kick for a phantom challenge that gifted them their equaliser with the last kick of the game. He said afterwards he can only give what he see's. With that statement and the incident involved he needs to take up another hobby as absolutely nothing happened. Or mores to the point find another regular source of income. He's a guesser full stop. I was 10 yards away from where he awarded a free kick despite no contact at all - and he was even closer. Still, I guess this problem will never go away. There are good refs who sometimes have the odd bad day and there are notoriously bad refs who never have a good day. If refs were paid on a performance related basis the referee last night would be owing both teams money. All the best to everyone for the remainder of the season.

I agree that Undy deserved their title they were very good all season and without having any real outstanding players with the exception of Cullimore were a very effective and together squad , Goytre also deserve their promotion after winning something like 16 out of 18 games ( albeit when they realised they were not good enough and splashed the big cash on Prosser / Truman , Bassett etc ) . It will be interesting to see who goes up out of Ferry and Ponty ( i fear if ponty dont make it there will be an exodus as they have splashed the cash for a number of seasons and still fallen short ) . As for Bridgend street i dont know what the factors for their failure mentioned are but an observation of mine is the overconfidence that they would walk the league at the start of the season and a huge streak of arrogance running through a fair few of the squad and supporters . Up The Civil ( bunch of Hoofers eh )

i was at ncs v bridgend street game and the ref was all bridgend so your facts are fiction, ncs have had some shocking refs this season ie.. briton ferry scored a goal and was disallowed because it went through hole in net, now thats shocking referee! as for a bunch of hoofers?? they had a fewe seconds players in that team due to 9 players not available for certain reasons and they still created better goalscoring opportunities from what i saw n all bridgend did was HOOF it forward all game!! so ncs battled had better CLEAR CUT chances ie.. the number 11 missing a sitter right on goal line as example! had boys missing but boys stepping up from reserve team and defo deserved at least a point!!! as for the pitch ha ha dont make me laugh with all the CASH YOU GOT THERE N YOURS WAS SHOCKING!!!!!! your spent a lot of money and it never worked simple!! totally agree with what azza said.. im gathering you was the moaner by side of ncs dugout, which and i quote by at least 3 your players was told you was a joke n aint got a clue!!! thats your own team aswell says a lot in my eyes.. but good luck next season maybe you will stop moaning about others and spend more time helping your own club..

lol ...... just proves maybe that we all wear rose tinted glasses. I opened my mouth 4 times all game..... first was to say to your gaffer that mellon was embarrassing and was letting his team mates down and that i would take him off if i was the manager. He agreed and said he would be doing just that. Two minutes later at half time he was substituted The other time was to shout well done to your keeper cleverly for a great finger tipped save to keep the score at just 1-0. Then to share a joke with one of your defenders. Finally the referee's incredulous decision in injury time got the better of me. The overall points I was merely making was well done to Undy, good luck to other teams and of course commenting on the poor standard of alot of the refereeing (which you have also been victim of) . They recieve good money for 2 hours "hobbying" but some seem to do little to get themselves fit or up to date with their eye tests or the rules of the game !! Good luck guys enjoy the summer and see you next season.

Its a pity that the end of a very exciting season that tempers are fraying a bit. The old chestnut rears its head again about clubs with cash. If a club works hard to find sponsors to support their club you have to say well done to them and not keep throwing it up in their face. All clubs are capable of bringing funds into their club if they work at it. I for one wouldnt berate one of our clubs if they suddenly had sponsorship from a Russian Billionaire which enabled them go on to gain a Welsh Premiership place. Congrats to all Champions/runners up and all clubs who enjoy being part of the Welsh League.
