Couldn't be arsed last night,but anyway the season finally conluded at sunny shannon close with a somewhat strange at times game.Mr Elson who when he dons black manages to take the word inept to new heights was at his usual best.Both sides tried to play football on the minefield,but a lot of passes went astray.HT 0-O Ron happy,the opening goal went to street around the hour mark, jeff white denied a stonewaller of a pen moments earlier pulled back in the D and whilst the defence argued Ross Powell took the free kick quickly and curled it past the despairing keeper and in off the post.The hosts came back to equalise within 2 mins &on the night could and should have had a hatful but shot high wide and handsome.As the home side went lookin for the winner street broke and white burst past the full back and pulled a ball back to the edge of the box for Ryan Shugar to hit .Apologies to the keeper to whom I gave no sympathy as he received treatment after backpedalling into an excavation in the 6yd area that looked like a trial hole for the new brynglas tunnels.As a conclusion I'd like to thank everybody in WLD3 for an exciting and enjoyable first season in the welsh league.

Mishman , i now know who you are , when the keepers ankle nearly fell off in the four foot grenade crater in the six yard box your the one that shouted " Get up keeper you f**** P*** " !. Im glad you have apologised for that .
I dont know whats worse about that ground the state of the pitch and facilities or the neanderthals that are allowed to drink strongbow in that chainsawed portacabin behind the goal.
I totally agree with all your observations , llanwern should have scored a clear six goals but thats why they didnt finish in the top half of the league as they are a decent side , im making my first prediction for 2012/13 season Bridgend St for promotion now they are fully acquainted with the welsh league as long as they keep their attacking players and Pontypridd to fail again despite the cash .
