I saw the other day that Ian Summers, manager of Marshfield County , in the Gwent County League has been appointed as manager or joint manager, of Welsh League club Chepstow Town and was quoted as having his first match at his new club last Saturday, a match that Chepstow lost 0-5. I also noted recently that Ian Summers was fined £300 plus costs by the Gwent FA on 24th October and picked up an 8 match touchline suspension. This suspension came into effect on 7th November. Marshfield have only played one game since 7th November, where Marshfield were beaten by Abertillery Excelsior. So as of last Saturday, he still had 7matches left on his suspension. He cannot appear on a club touchline until his fine has been paid and Marshfield have completed 7 matches, which might take some time. I sincerely hope that he didn't take any part in last Saturdays' match, because he and Chepstow Town could find themselves in trouble with Gwent FA.
