Seems to be a lot of teams close at the top of League 2 with a few surprises with Croesy and Abergavenny still going strong. Still think Swansea Uni will be favorites. Any thoughts?

Far too early to judge for me. Swansea Uni will be strong. Do the contenders have the ground criteria for the new division next season ?

Not a bad 3rd division either and once again there will be better teams left in the 3rd than there are in the 2nd. It’s happened from last season and out cup results prove that. It’s about time the idiots running things changed the promotion to 3 teams. #trevorknowsbest #uppatref

Only 2 up/down between tiers 3 and 4 all across Wales. Wait until the new structure, it’ll get harder with only be 3 up from 2 divisions to get into what is now Div 1.

STM won't be far off..I've seen them a few times this year, good players all over the park... Watched Croesy v Bridgend St..3-0 up & cruising croesy were but only managed a draw out of it..Young lad they had between the sticks kept them in it in the end.. Abergavenny knocking over STM & Swansea Uni have to be taken seriously Oh & don't forget the Buds who have about 10 games in hand..

STM and Swansea Uni are are going to run away from the pack with the quality they possess. Bridgend Street also look strong on paper and can't rule out Buds with some many games in hand. Are those teams in a position where they can go up to Tier 2? I'm sure STM had to arrange a ground share when they applied last year. Will that be case again?

1- C Ely. 2- S Uni. 3- Croesy. Take it to the bank.

Gwent 1,2,3 going into the new year. Abergavenny top unbeaten in the last 12 matches, 34 from 36 pts. Watch out for Monmouth creeping up almost unnoticed. Sure one of two others have games in hand but even if they win them all, they can only equal those above. Buds unfortunately have to much to do.

The results referred to above were actually ……….. Abergavenny Town 1-1 STM Sports AFC - Swansea University 0-2 Abergavenny Town

Indeed STM only club to take points off Abergavenny since first week of September. Quite a run, will it continue?

There are several very good teams in Division 2, and very little difference between them. It will be very interesting to see how it all pans out over the next few weeks.

Isn't it ridicoulous that most teams in WL Div 2 have played twice as many games as Buds. Surely every team in a given league (if league wishes to be taken seriously) should all be within 1 or 2 matches of each other.

Still got to think that Swansea Uni and STM Sports will have the strongest squads, but we all know what a good run does for confidence and spirit. Could be very close coming into last few games of the season. Always good to have a close competitive league.
