What an absolute disgrace it’s scandalous bordering embarrassing. The long awaited and heralded start of “home” games has faltered before it’s even began. Now over 2 months after the start of the season and a so called tier 2 club not only haven’t got a home venue within reasonable distance of their geographical origin but now they’ve got sod all. Can’t the league see that by giving Ponty leeway they are handing them a totally unfair advantage. The business end of the season will see them playing loads of consecutive home games and we all know the value of that. So maybe the issue with Leckwith is out of Pontys hands but the bottom line is that they and the league have to take overall responsibility. After all It was Pontypridd Town’s choice to up sticks and relocate to the new but useless facility. Let’s face poor old Llantwit Major are heavily inconvenienced and put at a severe disadvantage by us having to suck our thumbs on Saturday instead of competing for points in a league game. Now they will have to go to Leckwith end of season instead (if the pitch is ready by then) A bloody joke ! It’s something that could go against LM adversly with regards the end of season league tables. Natural weather postponed games are unavoidable (unless your Haverfordwest or AFC Llwydcoed) but this is unacceptable. Pontypridd Town should be ORDERED to hire a suitable ground for Saturday’s game or forfeit the points. There are far too many unhealthy precedents being set by the league committee. Let’s imagine if Ponty sign better players before the rescheduled game or Llantwit have players unavailable or suspended. Or maybe players they have available now leave them. It’s a joke and should never Be allowed. I’m a person who believes in fair play and a level playing field but right now that’s far from the bloody case. An example from totally the other end of the spectrum is that Tottenham are without use of their home ground but they have been made to hire alternative home venue at Wembley and even Milton Keynes for the Carabao Cup. This is absolutely absurd and the league are culpable for letting Ponty get away with a murder than other clubs would be hung for. Rant over and I’m now going to see where I’ve thrown my teddy. Llantwit vs ponty at leckwith is off Saturday as there is issues with their 'home ground' 😂😂😂😂 Go....

This match not showing as postponed on welsh league website, ponty town twitter or llan mj twitter, so surely this is a hoax. If not and reason given correct, it is a disgrace and 3 points will surely be deducted. Imagine how teams who failed tier 2 licence as facilities not ready in April 18 and a team granted tier 2 licence, with facilities not ready over 6 months later and no home pitch to play on, Surely the FAW and Welsh League owe all other clubs in structure and their fans an explanation. Bet both organisations will maintain their silence, they have no regard for the hard working committees, players or fans at this level.

This will mean 3 weeks without a game for the Major.
I would normally suggest switching but we have played most of our games at home already.
Pontypridd should face a points deduction.
Mind you Ammanford and possibly Port Talbot haven't played a home game yet.
Messive advantage come the end of season.

The home pitch is also being used for a reserves game against Trefelin.

Opponents of Ponty Town should all stand firm and refuse any requests for reversal of venues for forthcoming fixtures. Plus all other clubs should refuse any request from them to hire their ground. All other clubs have abiided by the rules and supply a suitable home venue to satisfy criteria for the division they are in . Ponty have got away with bloody murder so far and in the meantime every fellow club in div 1 has had to skirt around Pontys lack of venue problems by having skewed fixtures. It’s bloody wrong and the synic in me says that Ponty have pulled a fast one with this entire charade. The soppy merry men of the welsh league have had their pants pulled down by Ponty. It’s made a mockery of the welsh league, the pyramid structure and tier 2 licensing. I wonder what their next stunt will be ? Let’s face it Ponty obviously haven’t shown any ambition in getting tomorrow’s game on by seeking a temporary alternate venue like some clubs have to do at the end of the season. Another wasted Saturday and another end of season fixture problem thanks to them idiots
