Plenty of excitement in Splott.A great game that could have gone either way,too many unwarrented cards in a game that was far from dirty.Can understand why C&C are top of the pile,very impressive going forward and solid at the back especially in the 2nd half.Positive comments for the street from Cam after the game appreciated...............What happened to Ton,Mogsy ?

Not going to make any excuses, UWIC were worth the scoreline, if it wasnt for Johnny Howe it could have been double figures.
Cup ties and suspensions are part of the game and happens to all sides throughout the season, so we just had to get on with it..
Impressed by UWIC who tried to keep the ball on the carpet at all times, especially the 7 (captain I think) who was quality on the day.
Merthyr Town away on friday night which will give us chance to re-group before we travel to Barry Town on the 21st..

I agree,they're a decent footballing side,we played them twice in september a victory apiece just wondered how much they'd improved or if they had a change of team personnel.We'll find out saturday,thanks mogs.

Signed Dwyer then Huw it wasn't an electronic subs board - the players and supporters like a quick game of bingo during the game so I hope that clears that up ;D Interesting to see Cam's website say our keeper was on loan from the WPL..... thats incorrect as he's a local keeper who has stood in on the odd occasion, his last game being a one-off for us in the Senior League 2 years ago. Due to a frantic Friday of being arsed around by the previous keeper the loan keeper signing didn't get completed in time for him to be eligible for the game so in stepped Wilkinson instead who did a good job. As for new signings there may well be one or two but nothing signed and sealed as of yet. I can confirm that Tevez has had a last minute change of heart due to us not allowing him to wear the number 32 jersey. Good luck to Cambrian for the remainder of the season. |
