Lack of ambition continues then at both Afan Lido + Goytre Utd..........as both wouldn't have to do that much to fulfil criteria. Nothing rustling out in the Mon countryside either in Goytre - + their fan a few years back was pumping the propaganda that the Bumkins were destined for great things - bit like the Trefelin clown now.

No Port Talbot on the list either. OK, they probably aren't contenders, but it's more a statement of ambition and intent really.
Like Bangor, I don't see them having the paperwork sorted in time to regain WPL status, but atleast it 'looks' like they tried. Saying that, early season form suggests they won't be threatening for top spots anyway. They'll have a dilema soon. If the accounts can't be fixed to allow the finances as currently set up, then they'll be more reliant on fans through the gate at exactly the same time they've pissed off a significant portion of their fanbase.
To return to an old theme, perhaps Lido and Talbot looked at the numbers and all those trips to North Wales to be funded by crowds of 200 just isn't financially viable?

PT not playing there games at home saying it’s to do with the pitch but the boys say that’s total garb and that it’s because of an expensive boiler that’s knackered and they can’t get it done. They got proper problems over there I can tell you and mad to think that 3 years ago they were playing in the Welsh premier division. Now they’re nowhere near the biggest club in the area anymore there’s better run non welsh league clubs in the Port Talbot parks district league than them. Only one man to blame there

Led to believe that Punt Talbet pitch prob is down to them unable to afford the water (I'm told they are on a water meter) during the drought last summer to keep grass alive......+ now pitch is in an unplayable state. Given the pitch probs there was never much likelihood of them applying for a Full Domestic Licence. Well done though to Briton Ferry Llansawel at least they are showing ambition + intent to get back into the Welsh Prem - unlike their neighbours at Afan Lido + Goyt Stables.

Come off It how many clubs in the league managed to ever water their pitches in the summer. Maybe a handful if that and everybody else relies on Mother Nature. I know for certain nobody has every watered the local pitches over the Butts but they were playable a month ago and look none the worse for the dry summer now. Knowing Punt Talbet there is another reason rather than their usual spin of bullshit. Let’s face it when the Encyclopaedia of World Football (aka Avon Rambler) says it’s the boiler then you have to realise there’s truth in it Led to believe that Punt Talbet pitch prob is down to them unable to afford the water (I'm told they are on a water meter) during the drought last summer to keep grass alive......+ now pitch is in an unplayable state. The avonambler guy also says Trefelin are the best thing since sliced bread........so I don't buy into his boiler theory. So, basically Punt Talbet not playing home games is down to either a duff boiler, not enough dosh in the pot to afford water, floodlights or an act of God out of their control. You pays your money - you take your choice. The club is a disgrace anyway from top to bottom.

They look a young side and were deservedly beaten by Llantwit on Saturday.
Would predict they will be nearer the bottom than the top at the end of the season

Wouldn't suprise me if people who created mess at PT have long gone. Let's give them benefit of doubt and hope new people can turn club around. Many other clubs been in similar or worse trouble during their history, Llanelli, Barry and Bangor most recent, with widespread publicity. Some successful turn arounds there, let's hope PT can do same. Good Luck all at PT

It’s the same old Andrew Edwards pulling the strings at PT. it’s a pity he can’t pull a decent plumber and electrical engineer. Wouldn't suprise me if people who created mess at PT have long gone.
