Hearing rumours that there's been an early season casualty in S W Alliance Div One via Cadoxton Barry. Don't know if its true but if so it would leave the division with just 15 teams. Suppose there could be a late change of plan and an extra team promoted to Div 2 from parks level - and last season's 4th-placed finishers in Div Three promoted to Two. Think going with 15 in Div One is the more likely scenario though. Second teams axed too at Garw + Llangynwyd Rangers which could potentially leave both clubs short on numbers.

Cadoxton have dropped out of the Alliance League meaning Llangynwyd and Porthcawl have had break this week and Tonyrefail, Cornelly United and Cardiff Airport get one next week

that’s an awful sad shame. An old buddy Billy Hales god rest his wonderful soul worked his socks off to get them up the leagues over the years. There’ll be a few tears shed by Baggio in heaven over this. 😪

Shame they could not have found some link with BTU who seem to be thriving, with plenty of players from junior / youth / senior level. In my view could have been good all round, fringe players getting games , youth players being exposed to senior football, players recovering from injury getting games. However I bet the "bureaucracy' around registration I guess prevents this, so it needs to be looked at, a "fluid" system of players from "senior" teams being able to develop themselves and help other "nursery" clubs would in my view be beneficial all round, clubs staying "alive" keeping players in game etc etc. To many established teams folding for this matter not to be addressed by FAW.
