On a day when more games were off than on, our pitch was made playable by a bit of elbow grease, sweat and sand from a few clubmen and the ensuing early morning inspection by a local referee who kindly agreed to inspect the surface and then gave it the thumbs up.
Overall a great team effort by the clubmen who made it possible and the players who did the biz in the 90 minutes.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game,both sides tried their best to play decent football despite the weather.Thanks to all involved in getting the game on,egg-chasing at HQ deffo a second best.

Went to watch Risca v Pontyclun. On what was a heavy pitch there was a lot of very good football played by Risca. (Risca won 4-0). You wouldn't go far wrong to spend your couple of pounds watching them if you are looking for a game.
