Congrats to ammanford today getting it done on the last day of the season. STM top for most of the season, maybe the biggest case of asses going in welsh league history.....

Don't think stm bottled it
Ponty won their last six and Llantwit and Ammanford had a great run of results.

Congratulations to Ammanford. No gripes over at STM. We weren't good enough over the course of the season. Lost games at the start that could have secured promotion, lost games at the end that could have too. Thanks for the hyperbolic statement though.

Yes, congratulations to Llantwit, Ponty & Ammanford - lots of reasons but at the end of the day not good enough over the season is correct. Don't think that "asses" really come into it. We will have another go next season and see what happens. Whatever does happen I con just say that we have a great time very time we play, which is what a good community club is all about.

How good to read the very sporting comments coming from the STM Sports camp. I know cos I’ve been there it’s a crushing feeling getting beaten in a photo finish but how you respond and conduct yourself is important. Having the graciousness to congratulate your victors regardless of the circumstances is something that won’t be forgotten and is obviously well received by the triumphant club. We are all in it to win at the end of the day. There’s a certain club in div 3 who could learn a lot from the likes of STM and Llanelli. Take note, it’s only a game !!!! PS ~ I don’t subscribe to the rubbish that STM lost their bottle. They lost their leading scorer to a criminal assault by a Pontardawe clogger but were beaten for promotion by clubs who returned some spectacular results when it mattered most.
