It's not just the ground share it's the distances they are going Ammanford to Briton Ferry STM to Taffs Well Pontypridd to Leckwith
All a fair hike from their community (STM not to far.
Will STM stay where they are if they don't go up?

My questions would be,
1/ Why would any club with a realistic chance of promotion invest in infrastructure rather than paying players?
2/ If after being promoted, things on he pitch go badly and relegation looks likely, would you not bother with putting the infrastructure in place, take the relegation and hopefully get promoted again to ground share. the following season? Would it be that only once survival in the league ( a team was promoted to) was assured that there be any incentive to invest in infrastructure.

I may be wrong but in the case of Ponty, isn’t the plan to return to USW either way after one season once the new ground is built?

Because players who are paid come and go the infrastructure will be there for a generation. You don't have to pay players to get promoted from division 2 or 3.

Do we know which pitch at Leckwith Ponty have dominated? I'd have guessed the one with the huge 2000+ seater stand. However, talking to a guy in work and he seems to think that one of the outter pitches is the right length....

I have to agree with Huw it's totally unfair on the genuine hard working community clubs. Pontypridd have totally lost the plot the managers have destroyed Pontypridd Town and have just turned it into a soulless club it's so sad to see these men fill their egos at the expense of the club . I'm not having a pop at Ponty,Rob Pearce their Sec is one of the nicest people around a genuine guy. There was an audable gasp around the room when ground sharing was announced ... it's like putting a plaster over a water leak. Clubs will have just one season to furnish their home grounds with 250 seats who share.something they havnt done in last 3 seasons .madness. Very short sighted but why anyone suprised at anything that happens eh ! Rob is a decnt guy and good servent of Ponty Town. Im not sure he has had much say or input into this though.
