I hope it's not correct, but the club must be struggling @ the moment with results going the way they have !!

I very much hope this is not true, sad, sad news if it is. Llangeinor are a great bunch of people, always made us feel very welcome at Llangeinor Park. Lets hope this is just a rumour.

one of those places i've never been, but any team withdrawing from the league is a sad situation.

was that a I only played in the first division Jeffers LOL . ;D
Sad when any club withdraws, IF true, rumours same last season but they soldiered on. Village side just like us cant compete with the money boys !! Someone mentioned an interested thing other week about Llangeinor, and said you could trace their demise, if thats the right word to when Neil Foulkes left now thats not a slight on Neil, but the thinking was he brought in players he knew and could trust, like lots managers do when they go new club, half of Cambrian it was stated and the local players were frozen out, when Neil left so did loads players cos they had no affinity for the club ?, not sure if anything can be made of that. Cant blame the commitee for apponiting Neil fantastic track record at Cambrian, and once appointed you cant tell him who to pick. Cue some abuse coming my way from a certain poster for criticism of another club, but hey ho there you go.

Yes Huw quite right, but as you said recently "its only a bit of fun". Never abuse from me just dont like clubs or individuals from being slagged off.

Hope they can salvage something this season and have a plan to rebuild if they go back into the amateur league for next season. We had 2 games against them last season and had 2 comfortable wins, but the attitude of the players, management staff and committee was absolutely spot on. It's a shame that its happening to the club and I really hope they can bounce back from it.

Having played for llangeinor under Neil the problem was the promises that we're made to the players and management team were never kept. We were always promised the world yet got nothing and that was the main reason Neil called it a day because he couldn't work with what were basically lies. two seasons ago all the players involve took llangeinor to their highest ever finish in the welsh league yet received no gratitude from anyone at the club. The people who run the club are nice people but if they told me that it was raining outside I would still go an check for myself.
