Maybe we should keep it all in one thread rather than talking about individual games. I went to watch Celtic v Bryntirion and was expecting an entertaining encounter between a team who have been quite poor defensively and the reigning champions. As it turned out the game was quite a turgid affair with the "highlights" being a few robust challenges and an interesting choice of outfit from the visiting keeper, Purple Blain. Against the form book, Celtic were good value for their win and should have made their margin of victory more comfortable. Scott Lanyon got the goal but could easily have had three, a combination of fortune and excellent goalkeeping from Blain keeping the score to just 1-0. At the other end Bryntirion managed exactly one effort on target, which was a tame header from skipper Paul Evans that was easily saved by Nicky Church. Bryntirion seemed to have only one method of attack which was putting balls into the box, and this was bread and butter for Church and co. Celtic going forward were industrious and creative; they have added a more intricate passing element to their football with the signings of Broad and Prangley and played the better football by far. Just my opinion of course tweets from the game richthekeeper
