Well, Llanelli finally won the championship with a 3-1 victory over Port Talbot today and providing we win our appeal its the Premier League next season. To be perfectly honest, I'll be sorry to leave the Welsh League. Its been a great experience and we've had a wonderful time at other clubs (with a very few notable exceptions)! Today for instance we met a very noisy Port Talbot following but to their credit they stayed behind at the final whistle and gave the Reds a standing ovation! The very best of luck to all the clubs for next season, we will miss you!

Could I just echo sentiment + say well done Llanelly on becoming Welsh League champions.....amazing achievement to have followed another former "fallen" club in Barry Town in winning our glorious title. Have to wait + see now what the FAW bigwigs have to say on the matter this week. In some areas though regarding the full FAW Domestic Licence like building they give grace to put house in order provided planning permission has been sought + work completed by July. I know this isn't the case with Llanelly, but just wondering whether whatever they are failing on can also be given time to sort out. If Llanelly fail to go up then only other scenario for a promoted Welsh Lge club is Harveywest finishing 2nd...........+ from where I'm sitting that's looking less + less likely as they are already on summer holidays in Tenby. So, it looks as if its Llanelly or bust with possibly Carmarthen Town staying put in the top tier. But with Carmarthen finishing one off bottom, Welsh Lge won't get anyone back if Llanelly don't go up. So, no Welsh Prem ripples down the Welsh Lge divisions + beyond.
