It was a hard fought game as you would expect, 0-0 at half time but in fairness Pony could have been in front, official Kevin Russell, was excellent as usual. It just happened to be our day, just as it was Ponty's day when we played them at their ground - The loss of two forwards in the first 20 minutes with injuries, made us approach the rest of the game differently, which worked for us on the day.

ooh nice comment Ta, just a big shame that I had only one assistant for this 1st V 2nd Game, and not mine or teams fault!!

Pontardawe played Major off the park on Saturday and were unlucky not to pick up all 3 points. Should be a good game when they meet again in 2 weeks time ๐๐ผ And with Mr Rawlings scoring goals for fun with L Major............it's happy days. Not saying for one moment that L Major are a one-man team, as they've got plenty of other classy Penybont not wanted men in their ranks, but it looks as if his goals are going to shoot 'em into Div One for next season.

For the most part i agree with you. Played the better stuff scored a tidy goal, think we maybe had a couple more chances but like you said Ponterdawe as a whole the better team. Really surprised at their league position to be honest, i would go as far as saying yourselfs and Risca the best footballing teams we've played this year. Great surface down there to, best pitch in the league by far, little bit annoying about the changing room situation but not that bad of a thing really. As a whole, proper club.

You mean the changing rooms that 3 years later still have no electricity or gas?

You mean the changing rooms that 3 years later still have no electricity or gas? Staggering Was a nice day on saturday so didnt make a blind bit of difference to the boys. Would rather change in a place like that and have a decent track, than the alternative.

Still 6 in with a shout, not often you have that many teams still in with a chance of going up.
Think stm would of been secure with a win but whilst still favourites they are back in a battle now.
Bud's right back in it with a great win at Garden Village who now have to beat Llantwit on Tuesdays to stay in it.
Ammanford bang in form but ponty struggling. They play each other twice which will be crucial.

Another massive win for the Major with youth player Sam Snaith scoring 4 goals in 2 games.

Mr Rawlings scored his first goals since that post on Saturday. Hopefully another goal or 2 tomorrow

How many were there as wasn't a big crowd when we played there recently.

Every time Iโve been to Ammanford itโs been one man and a couple of dogs on their side but maybe promotion will get the locals on side!

Well Llantwit claimed the title tonight with a 5-2 win over 3rd placed STM. Ponty obviously won promotion on the weekend as well.
What's left to play for?
STM have now played their last game and are above 4th placed Ammanford on goal difference alone.
Ammanford can seal promotion with ANY point against Ponty away tonight or at home to the Buds on Saturday.
Madly.... a Ponty win tonight would see 5th placed Aberbargoed Buds still able to win promotion provided........ They won their last game against Ammanford by about 37-0.
Any bookies around....?
