Looking as if Llanelly will remain in the Welsh League next season then, as going back to the Welsh Prem would rock the Stebo boat too much behind the scenes. So, if Harveywest get top-two finish they might take the plunge again and it would be Bluebirds up and either Carmarthen or Aber down into the final season of Welsh League Div One as we know it. If Harveywest don't go up then with no-one down from Welsh Prem there would be just two clubs relegated from Welsh League Div 3 because only SWGA + Gwent County League are offering promotion candidates. Prestatyn finishing bottom of Welsh Prem means they swap places with the promoted Gog club.

Reports I've seen are that Llanelli are confident of getting everything in place in time for the 10 day appeal. Not sure what is happening with Bangor and Connahs Quay at the moment though? If only one of them make the deadline then only Prestatyn will be relegated meaning only 1 relegated from WL3.
Suppose everyone will have to wait...

If only one of Bangor & Conan’s Quay made it, that would save Prestatyn not a WL Div 3 Club surely?
Precedent wise just look back to when Neath went under!?

I wonder whether the time has come for the FAW to have a review of the Welsh Premier especially the yearly review of club licences and the entry requirements for new applicants. As it stands now, you have existing Premier clubs failing the procedure, as well as new applicants. This could mean that the Premier might field less than the 12 clubs they have at the moment.

LLANELLI CLUB STATEMENT issued on the clubs website:
Following the decision of the FAW Club Licensing first Instance Body not to grant Llanelli Town AFC a Domestic Licence, the club will now assess, digest and then appeal the decision.
As per the findings, we are more than confident in achieving the Domestic Licence during the appeals process.
The club is and was aware of the shortcomings for one of the five headings prior to today’s meeting and work continues off the field to complete this point.
We now have 10 days to appeal and the appeals will be heard on 26th April.

Quite alarming though that they were only aware of one of the 5 shortcomings prior to the outcome. Maybe things have changed a lot somewhat since they were last there. I hope they get the License as on the field they have been great over the past few seasons, it would be a right blow if the guys running the show off field let them down. I imagine a few players and Committee would leave if that happens.

What I've heard is that some Llanelly blazer boys (don't think TonyA is one of them...lol) will stand down if they go up and not the other way round. Time will tell. Couldn't see Trundle hacking it in the Prem at his age, and getting a goal scorer to consolidate up top won't be cheap either.

Llanelli blazer boys? You clearly know nothing about the set up at stebo. Chairman and secretary, thats it. Everything else is organised by the supporters club.

Trundletown will be a big plus for the WPL and if some poxy little bit of paperwork or criteria prevents them it will be a travesty. Putting everything aside regards the tongue in cheek stuff about Tony A , Mikeyred and his fellow Trundletown stalwarts, these people love their club and along with other supporters will drive their club forward and help it grow. This isn’t a Spanish consortium or a “Silly Stuart” scenario. The real people who care about Llanelli Town and Barry Town United have fought back against all odds after these aforementioned people came along with false promises and visions of grandeur. The great thing is that profit and lining someone’s pocket on the back of a football club is the furthermost thing in anyone’s thoughts. It’s just about having a club represent the badge and the locality in a cost efficient manner without living above means. Us supporters have proven that a club is about the real people and not flash in the pan merchants. Other clubs take note and don’t trust anyone outside of your group to take control of your football club.

Personally I think it would be great to see Llanelli back in the Welsh Premier and be great to see Trundle give them another season to see how he gets on at this level. I think he still holds the ability to bag goals week in week out at Welsh premier level and may attract supporters to games.
If they fail under the Licencing and Haverfordwest gain promotion cant see them being able to stay in the league. Be one team destined to go straight down from the word go but Llanelli will give a good account of themselves and do enough to maintain their status.
Surely Welsh League 1 will become very boring without the progression of Llanelli as if they were to maintain the current squad the title will surely be theirs season on season.
