Blimey, Llanelly Town missed out on an FAW Domestic Licence then......and have 10 days to appeal. However, Haverfordwest County have been successful while not surprisingly Penybont withdrew their application as they are way short of meeting criteria. FAW piece doesn't say why Llanelly failed. Also surprising is that two existing Welsh Prem clubs, Bangor City + Connah's Quay Nomads, have also failed to get the important piece of paper. What did Llanelly fail on then?

I think Bangor often fail on the first pass for one reason or another. Highly likely there's a bit of admin to do, rather than a financial meltdown scandal brewing.
My first guess would be similar for Llanelli, that there's paperwork to get in order.
But it does show what a big part those unseen workers at clubs play in the season. We all chat about players and managers. But it needs some pretty decent admin to get to the stage of being able to chat managers and palyers.
So all credit to those that got a straight pass. Especially those that also got the UEFA!

WPL licence turned down because of Trundletown wanting to play under the name of Llanelli Town. I think Bangor often fail on the first pass for one reason or another.
