Thanks UPG you set that one up nicely for me. 5 Live are on air all day Thursday for special bulletins on the Gwent clubs transfer activities. The programme is called Tranny Day and is hosted by a Mr S Collymore live from Leafy Lane car park. Because of the Welsh connection, FIFA referee from Merthyr , the infamous Howard King is a special guest. Don't know if Welsh League fans are aware, but this Thursday (March 29) is Transfer Deadline Day...........mass blank coverage on Sky Sports.

Can anyone inform me on how the 7 day rule now works? Obviously if someone puts in 7 days and you agree it’s got to go through that process does it mean your player can’t leave? Asking for a friend😂

Screw deadline day. WPL Licence criteria deadline is FAR more important.

Criteria deadline day might be more important for clubs like Llanelly who have got superb players like Trundle + don't need to sign anymore to get in the Welsh Prem. But for lesser mortals on the Welsh League scene, looking to either gain promotion from divs 2 + 3 or dodge the relegation trapdoor, then transfer-deadline day IS important. Being you are the font of all Llanelly knowledge, is everything tickety-boo at Stebo regarding a possible return to Welsh Prem. Bigee on Tuesday night then against Haverfordwest County, a six-pointer in the title race if ever there was one.

Promotion for Trundletown will be a fine achievement and thoroughly deserved to say the least but the hard work will start when they kick off their first WPL game. Personally from us being habitual winners it becomes the norm and football seems a lot easier in division 1 of the WL. I had a feeling of huge confidence going into the Prem and that we’d take the league by storm but the reality is completely different though and the challenges are much bigger. In the Welsh League we could afford to miss chances because plenty more would crop up during the game but in the WPL it seems that every chance is crucial and missed chances come back to cost points. The best part of being in the WPL is the fact we haven’t got to risk venturing into Gwent. The worst part is not being able to attend away jaunts as much as I’d like but under a tremendous manager we are growing within the league and setting excellent realistic foundations.

Think the difference is Voggie, that Barry wanted to go back to the Welsh Prem and what I've heard is that Llanelly might be dragging their feet....and all is not sweetness behind the scenes at Stebo. I've been told some Llanelly blazer boys might throw in the towel if they go up. Unconfirmed of course. Come back Tony A all's forgiven - give us your valued pearls of wisdom on the Llanelly situation ahead of potentially season-defining clash with the Bluebirds.

Tonyawn has the male form of PMT. very uptight, paranoid and no sense of humour. The story you get from yawn will depend on which week of the monthly cycle he’s in.
