Two interesting points on FAW website tonight with regard to div 1 matters...........Penybont lose 3pts + Cwmamman Utd 5 players.

Penybont played Timmy Georgievsky as an ineligible player on day one of season against Mon when he was on a 3-match ban picked up the previous season while with Llanelly Town Youth. Crossed wires between Llanelly + Bridgend have ended what slim chance Penybont still held of winning the penultimate Welsh Lge title.

Five Cwmamman players to move on are Leon Croucher, Ryan Hurlow (both showing enormous ambition in going to St Joes, Swansea), Kurtis Rees (Pontardawe), Ryan Thomas (Haverfordwest) + Jordan Vickers (Llanelly Town). Strange that these five now jumping ship as with games in hand Cwmamman still got a decent chance of avoiding the drop. Brown envelopes dried up or all five just fancied a change?

Punt Talbet have lost another player too with Owen Williams moving to Lido.

The suspension is an interesting one. Normally bans now apply to the competition he was competing in as the leagues are run on different days. In saturday leagues if you get sent off and suspended you can still play for a different club in a sunday league and vice versa.
