Just seen the list of clubs to receive dosh from the Welsh Grounds Improvements Grants and while there's a list as long as your arm of Mid Wales/Gogland clubs getting cash, the Welsh League is most definitely the withered arm. Just two Welsh League clubs getting a slice of the cake....div 3 Ely Rangers getting a new boiler grant (better if they'd have applied to either improve pitch or put a roof over it to protect it from light showers). And div 2 Caldicot Town having money towards their new stand. Only thing i can say in defence of this massive disparity in grasnt money is that Welsh League clubs didn't apply - but somehow I wouldn't bet on that being a fact.

We've been granted money actually downtunparkhello. Landfill lane is getting a stand for our 1 supporter, but i dont think a deck chair, windbreak and a parasol is that expensive.

I love it Majorproblems you are on my waive length. I also hear the Llantwat players are chipping in to pay for entry and travel to away games for your supporters club. The 50p per player fortnightly donation is a fantastic gesture. Other clubs should take note. We've been granted money actually downtunparkhello. Train ticket is booked for dinky poo saturday. Although we dont have any money and landfill lane so no whip round to actually pay for his ticket, so hes gonna have to hide in the toilet all the way.

Check it out on FAW website if you don't believe me you L Major chappies. Either it's pie in the sky that you are getting money for a stand or your grant is coming from a different begging bowl.

Were just buying loads of scratch cards from the local co op hoping for a winner. We're doing pretty well so far, what does 25quid get us? |
