Seems like he’s going to do some prison time, found guilty and Carmarthen have been quick in putting out a statement saying they have released him from his contract. I also heard a rumour at the wkend and again it’s just a rumour that they are keen to speak to Penybont manager Rhys Griffiths. Will be interesting to see how it all unfolds

Hardly a major surprise here, as it has been a known possibility for many months. I would be very surprised if Carmarthen do not have a contingency plan in place. Paul Sugrue also likely to be joining him at Her Majesty's Hotel, I doubt if they will share accommodation though.

That sounds more realistic to me, I’m sure I read on here that rhys Griffiths signed a contract at Penybont. I’m not sure he would be able to commit either with his current job.

Yes smudge has been assistant there a while I believe, I also believe he had done his coaching badges but not sure he wants the role long term, good luck to him he always comes across as a nice guy
