Well done to the WFA, for an anouncing a friendly v Norway, on the same date as the League Cup 3rd round. That should give the clubs the help they need.

Surely this friendly game could have been played on the Sunday or in mid-week.

Re: Saturday 12, th November 2011. Wales vs. Norway International Match The Football Association of Wales is delighted to announce that a Senior International Friendly match has been arranged against Norway on Saturday, 12th November 2011. This match will be played at the Cardiff City Stadium and kick-off will be at 3.00pm. Due to the short notice in the announcement of this match, the FAW Council at a meeting held on 19th October 2011 ordered that the Regulations prohibiting all adult football fixtures on the day of a home international match shall not be enforced, on the condition that those clubs wishing to postpone their fixture on 12 November so that they may attend the international match, be permitted to so by the organising League or Area Association without further sanction. Any such request must be made by the club to the organising League or Area Association at least 14 days prior to 12 November 2011. I shall be grateful if you would kindly take note and action accordingly this order by the FAW Council. This statement will be promoted on the FAW Website and we would kindly ask that all Leagues and Area Associations promote the same message on their respective websites. Yours Sincerely, Andrew Howard Head of Competitions
