Game probably didn't last 90 mins, player injured or match abandoned due to the poor state of the pitch?

Looking at the Disciplinary List that the FAW released last night, there is a touchline ban for Alyn Jones of Neuadd Wen and Josh Allen of Ely Rangers has got 3 matches. Are these guys players or managerial staff at their clubs? I'm not up to speed with either club I'm afraid.

Just noticed you guys from Ynysygerwn played Ely Rangers last night and thumped 'em 5-0.......surely someone asked them as to why the result with Neuadd Wen had been removed?

Just noticed you guys from Ynysygerwn played Ely Rangers last night and thumped 'em 5-0.......surely someone asked them as to why the result with Neuadd Wen had been removed? I was there but I don’t know any of the Ely staff so never asked and don’t know if any of our boys know. Was a good win for us last night but could and should have been 8/9-0. Been a vast improvement since we lost 1-4 against Newport City. Been told our management asked if they could stop making 4/5 changes every game due to boys paying subs. Now although the boys still pay they seem to keep the same 13/14 players, this has lead to 3/4 leaving this week but we’ve won 3 and drawn one in the last 7. The 3 we lost was against the top 3 all by one goals. One were we played 35 minutes with 10 men and one were we missed a 90th minute pen against Trefelin. Same with the drawn game at Neuadd Wen where we missed a late pen and drew 1-1. Hopefully the consistency with selection is working and it’s the first time this has happened since the manager took over 6 seasons ago & hopefully we can continue to improve. Not out of the woods by a long way though and need to keep picking up points

New boy "soccercrazy" has hit the nail on the head. Skullduggery in can you believe it the 89th min of Neuadd Wen v Ely Rangers and match was abandoned. When all the info was received from the referee, the Welsh League boys swung into action and there was a steward's enquiry...........leading to the game being called null + void and will have to be replayed later in the season.

Neuadd Wen showing the fighting spirit then and pulling all the punches in an attempt to remain in the Welsh League. And next up is Caerau away on Saturday where there don't take many prisoners. Should be an interesting battle...the type of game many a referee might not fancy. Cue man flu.

I have browsed these forums for a number of years "Ghosting" around viewing posts just out of pure interest as a Welsh League fan. I do not wish to get involved in any sort of debate (probably why I have never signed up previously) but what I witnessed on Saturday was pretty shocking.
I am very much a neutral, live in South Wales and travel around watching games, I have watched the Buds a few times (only a 20 min drive) and have seen the rise and fall due to money and paying players but still enjoyable to watch (at times). Anyway... Buds were away at Porth so I watched Neuadd Wen.
Panteg were lucky to be 2-0 up, a number of missed chances/poor finishing by Neudd, if the strikers put there chances away this could easily be 2-2/3-2, about 60 minutes in the Neuadd CB got into a bit of a scuffle with the Panteg forward... players running over, I believe punches were thrown by both teams (can't be sure)... Ref defused the situation and play resumed - How nobody seen a red I don't know!
Next incident was from a Neuadd Wen free kick going into the box, ref appeared to have his back turned, Number 7 (Neuadd Wen) run behind a Panteg defender and punched him... *Queue the madness*, defender managed to stay on his feet, exchanged a few blows was then tackled to the floor by another Neuadd player, at this point there was 2/3 players kicking and stamping on this poor fella's head. Moments after this a mass brawl broke out... hard to keep up with what was going on but was pure madness!
Few things to note:
1. Nobody has the right to assault anyone, its football for Christ sake. 2. Kicking and stamping can do some serious damage, very foolish 3. The ref did not stick around and watch the incident, he just walked away to the changing rooms - How is he going to report this to the FAW if he did not hang around to see it? 4. Both teams should be punished, no smoke with out fire. 5. Neuadd Wen "7" should be dealt with by the FAW, I hope he gets the book thrown at him. 6. Would not be surprised if the police gets involved, what I saw was GBH.

on point 3 if Referee has abandoned game, thats it, he does not need to stay around and get involved. Its not his job to dive in and pull them apart. I would presume both sides may be dealt with as failing to control players, and dont forget no assistants in Div 3.

Hopefully, these Neuadd Wen clowns will be one-hit wonders in the Welsh League.......and back where they belong in the Gwent County League next winter. Disturbing trend of late though with two Neuadd Wen games abandoned and the L Major v Croesy incident of "Lady Chatterly + the Game Keeper".
